No offense Retro, but how exactly does that rule her out? Stacy X has skin like a snakes, not tattoos of snakes. She could still be Stacy, just without the skin mutation.
No offence taken. Maybe they've decided to give the movie version a different more 'realistic' look by giving her tattoos (with snakes?)? Maybe the team thought that Stacy X (if thats the role) would look too much like Mystique.
He did say that she had it all over her arms and breast, the only thought in my mind was that she(Dania Ramirez) must be Stacy X.

My bet is on Dazzler, the Ultimate-spikey hair, punk, pierced and tatooded version.

Wouldn't Stacy X just be a repeat of Poison Ivy? And we all know how the general audiences loved Poison Ivy :( I'd actually be okay with this chick playing Marrow. Atleast it's a character that has played a villain to the X-men. Please no Stacy X. :down

I hope she's not Scarlett Witch. I'm not to familiar with Wanda but I hated the Xmen Evolution "Goth-Rock-Punk" Scarlett Witch. Then I saw Scarlett Witch on XML2:ROA, that version is the better Scarlett.

maybe she is spiral.

six arm mutant that teleports to different dimensions.

I think they would have noticed if they were giving her six arms.

This just hit me - All talk mutant specualtion aside. Call it a coincidence but do you realize that both Dania Ramirez and Omahyra were born in the Dominican Republic? What are the chances...
I guess Brett Ratner loves his Dominicans.

what would make you think she's spiral .... ?
or was just you throwing out a random mutant?

and i don't think spiral's even a mutant.

I'm still bettin' on Stacy X. To me, it seems obvious, but I could be wrong.

She looks just like her, and with the Stacy rumors....????

I agree. Her or Marrow would make the most sense. I don't know why Scarlet Witch seems to be a popular suggestion. She looks nothing like any counterpart of hers. The only way she comes close to the Evolution version is the short hair, and the styles aren't even the same.

Neither is Juggernaut or Lady Deathstrike, but that is easily changed for the films.

UPDATE

She screams Stacy X...

Is that because she'd have to use mutant pheromones to attract anyone?

Dear God, she looks like a she-male. There was one on the Big Brother reality show here in the UK. He was called Kemal - stick-thin with high heels and make-up.

Electric will know who I mean. I will post a picture below:

Yes, I know who you mean...its hideous. The things he/she wore....*cringes*

I'd just forgot about that wierd person!

But doesn't he/she... umm 'it'... look like Omahyra.

Maybe they want a very androgynous-looking Stacy who could seduce men and women....

Here is an interesting article on here...
Voted one of the 50 Most Beautiful People by Paper Magazine in 2001, sixteen year-old modeling sensation Omahyra Mota has already graced the pages of Italian, German and Nippon Vogue. She has also appeared in The Face, ID and Numero magazines and been photographed by Ellen Von Unwerth, Helmut Newton, Richard Burbridge, Terry Richardson, Bruce Weber, Liz Collins and Thomas Schenk among others.

Taking the fashion world by storm, Omahyra (prounounced oh-MY-rah) has also walked the walk for an impressive list of designers including Gucci, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Bottega Veneta, Roberto Cavalli and Moschino (Milan), Alexander McQueen, Julian McDonald and Boyd (London), and Lucca Lucca, Daryl K and Miguel Adrover in New York.

So when David Bosman, President of Boss Models, took the time to introduce us to Omahyra and told us about the amazing splash she's making at the age of sixteen, we immediately wanted to introduce this extraordinary girl to our readers in this special exclusive interview.

Born in Santo Domingo, capital city of the Dominican Republic, Omahyra came to America when she was ten years old with literally nothing but the clothes on her back. Thanks to the extraordinary courage of her mother and her own strength of character, six years later Omahyra is poised to break out from the pack in an extraordinary flash of personality, humor, beauty, strength, grace and fire.
