He says earlier in the interview that he thinks Johns and that set are crazy for coming up with a great story and then realizing they need to tell a bunch of other stories to lead up to that story. The way he described it, he'd just cut straight to the first great story idea and then iron out the rest as an afterthought because he feels there's a responsibility to the reader to engage them in every single issue. I personally think as a reader that seeing the journey to a great payoff unfold before me is a great story in itself.

Eh. I'm sure I'll read it and it'll be fine, but I'm honestly kind of smashed out still from WWH. Hopefully there's some other stuff going on in the issue besides just Rick and Bruce fighting.

That's what turned me off from Hulk. All they keep advertising is one of the Hulks tearing **** up. As if that's all the Hulk concept is good for.

I'd like to see Bruce kick Rick's ass, myself. I hate it when Hulk fanboys go crazy over the Hulk being more badass than anyone else, but I think Bruce should at least be more badass than any other Hulks.

Nah, Bruce needs to be taken down a notch. His power levels are ridiculous these days.

Technically he really doesn't have a power level right now. Who knows what effects that red beam had on his strength.

Yeah, they really were. I didn't expect him to be able to Hulk out again after that big brawl with The Sentry. I guess it makes enough sense though, he was really really really pissed off.

Yes. Yes, it was. But I personally think that he'll be right back down to his usual Gladiator/Thor/Black Bolt tier of strength. Right about even with those guys, so that a fight between them would be pretty impressive but by no means a sure win for the Hulk.

Haha, yeah, they were good times. I think we've pretty much got to go back to them, too. Seriously, how do you think anyone could write a Hulk that's as far out of everyone else's league as WW Hulk was? They do all kinds of crap, like build paranoia into the Sentry and mysteriously power Dr. Strange down for unknown reasons, to stay away from such power levels.
