Official Rulk Thread

How does anything thats happened in Hulk not make any sense? We just dont have all the peices to the puzzle yet. Watch in about 4 months we'll see Moon Knight move to Vegas in his comic.

Well, "the Bad Editing and Coordination Effect" doesn't roll off the tongue as easily. :oldrazz:

I like the jeph loeb effect, or maybe just "jeph loebing". I just saw the simpson's yesterday where homer saves the plant by accident and coins the term "I pulled a homer" for stupidity resulting in success.

Boy that bendis is sure loebing the avengers....hmmm that works for me.

I like Loeb, his stuff is always fun to read. Until Loeb does something really stupid like have Jean Grey return and get her ass whooped by Rulk, I'll wait until we get all the peices to the puzzle before I start bashing Loeb, just have patience.

OMG big deal we dont know who Rulk is after 6 months, OMG most story arcs take that long to conclude. Look at Mighty we didn't know for about 6 months if Stark was even still alive, just be patient.

I don't care what we call it, but we DO need an interenet meme using Loeb for poor or ill-logical comic book writing. The Jeph Loeb Effect sounds good to me.

So...anybody want to buy me the Incredible Hulk on DVD ad Blu-Ray?

Yeah, sure, just give me your address and the flaming dogs***--er, DVD will be on your doorstep in a couple days. :)

No kidding thats what I'm saying, you know things will work out in the end. You know we will learn Rulk identity, Hulk will fit in continuity, it already does. I'm just saying to all the people *****ing about "the Loeb effect" trying having some patience.

Also Captain America had his own comic he died.

Yeah I'm sure loeb will explain the whole thing. He's done a stellar job on the ultimates and there's no holes there. LOEB!

My point is that you dont even need the actual hero of the title for there to be a title, like Captain America. Thats why it could've been possible for him to die in a book he has such a huge role in.

Possible, I guess. But very unlikely. He had a movie coming out and his profile in the MU was probably at the highest it's ever been.

I didn't see it on dvd yet. Only in the theaters.

wow i just got done reading hulk #7 and these writers are just totally ****ing things up..how the hell do u go from green scar back to dumb hulk then back to gray hulk...and another if your gonna let green hulk win then let him win the fact that green hulk needed so much help to beat rulk FREAK'EN SUCKS!..ITS ALMOST LIKE HE DIDNT REALLY WIN...IM REALLY GETTING TIRED OF MARVEL AND THEIR CONFLICTING STORY LINES..STUPID

So Joe Fixit returns. Why is Moon Knight in Vegas? And how are the Wendingos able to leave Canadia?

The Wendigos are supposedly hybrids but that doesn't explain what they are hybrids of......and why there is more than one and less powerful. Loeb is f-ing up with Marvel IMHO. When he was with DC and did the Batman/Superman comic it was gold but now....meh.

I am so hoping for the Peter David dream power to appear and wipe this whole nonsense away.

Gold...? I haven't read much of the S/B title, but from what I remember of the stories he authored, they were okay at best and involved some fairly out-of-character moments. Not nearly as bad as his work on Hulk, but I definitely wouldn't call it "gold."

Yeah, his Superman/Batman run was good up until the end of the first arc. After that it was meh to total crap. Return of Supergirl anyone? Yuck. But I did like seeing Uncle Sam with his rolled up sleeves and a GL ring. But that was more of an awesome Pacheco moment than a Loeb moment.

It was gold for the first arc. Then Supergirl showed up and it went straight to hell.

EDIT: Or, what Nubsie said.

The last I enjoyed anything Loeb was doing was when they had him on the actual Superman comics along with Kelly and whoever was writing Man of Steel. Emperor Joker, Worlds at War, all that good ****. Although I guess if I look back on it some of Loeb's worse tendencies were present even then.

Yeah I meant the first arc of the Bats/Supes comic.......until Batman went toe to toe with Darkseid. Another wtf moment with Loeb.
