Official Rulk Thread

I was planning my first venture into public defecation, but now that Nubsy spoiled it, I'll probably just wrinkle up a few pages.

If you don't do it now, you'll damage the time stream. Creating an alternate reality where you didn't wipe your ass across Rulk's face, resulting in the resurrection of Hitler in the body of Zombie Jesus.....

Wow! Loeb should retire after this! We are no closer to finding out who Rulk is, plus the way he's beating people makes no sense! I shouldn't have even bought this book! :cmad: Now that I think about, wasn't the Loeb the writer when Batman went toe to toe with Darkseid? I stood up for Loeb when this book first came out.....not again. :cmad: :csad:

A part of me really enjoyed this issue, it was nice to see thor return with a vengeance and it was nice seeing Green hulk reclaim the throne in his own book, but this "who is the rulk" mystery is getting ridiculous. And wtf was up with Samson at the end of the issue? Is he like evil now? I'm thinking that Rulk is Emil Blonsky, i dont know how, but thats the only person i could think of that would make sense. Who else could it be?

Emil? That's another thing! It was never explained how Rick became A-bomb, just magically happened. :whatever: Nor was it explained why the Hulk is dumb again, nor is involved in SI. bah!

It's a mystery! Everyone knows the key to writing a good mystery is to introduce random elements that beg explanation and then ignore them without dropping any hints or clues about the truth behind them for months on end. :whatever:

Why dont you just shut up and let the story play out.

The same people *****ing about the same writers, why dont you "guys" stop reading **** that these "stupid" writers are writing. Oh I know why, cause you just wanna have something to ***** about on SHH.com so you can feel important.

Marvel has things under control, sometimes things take more than just 6 issues to pan out. Many may disagree but Marvel plans things out for the long run, they have been setting things up since disassembled that are just now coming to light.

You seem mad like you don't get why everyone else is annoyed by the book.

So it doesn't annoy you at all that 6 issues in we still have no idea who Rulk is or how Rick survived after the end of WWH, or why he's A-Bomb?

No it doesnt bother me at all. Sure I want to know now, but I dont need to know now.

And no I really dont get why everyone else is annoyed.

Mostly because of how easily Rulk defeated his opposition so far until today's issue.

And the other issue, is that Loeb made Hulk dumb again, ******ing the character development.

Hahaha! We have the same conversation going on in two threads! I think I'll just stick to this thread from now on.

But anyway, everyone is annoyed because so far the main character of this book is Rulk and we won't even know his identity or origin until issue 9 at least. Also, even if you really like this book, you have to admit that what happened to Thor was kinda lame (Rulk picking up Mjolnir and all) so that pisses off Thor fans. And Hulk fan-boys like me are a little irritated that after Planet Hulk and WWH (which were awesome!) that the attention got shifted to Rulk.

But at least it's pretty fun. I actually like A-Bomb and don't mind the fact that Rick has become A-Bomb -- I just want some explanation. In fact, it's pretty cool that this book is focused on Hulk beating the crap out of things and it makes it pretty fun. And I think it will pretty cool to have the Hulk book split up for the two Hulks with different artists.

That being said, I probably have more complaints than praise at this point.

I just say give it some time.

Yea I scratched my head when I seen Rulk totally annihilate Thor, but at the same time I tell myself that I will get answers as to how Rulk is so Powerful and how he is able to whoop Thor and Hulk so bad.

I also dont totally understand why Hulk has devolved into dumb Hulk, but again I know I will get answers in due time.

All in all, Rick being A-Bomb, Hulk Being Dumb, and the mystery of the Rulkn all have to do with what happened at the very end of WWH.

Also not that much attention could b placed on Hulk after WWH cause he was locked up. What would that story have been like, not nearly as cool or fun as this story.

Dude this is a comic forum and if you don't like certain topics, then maybe you shouldn't go into certain threads. People have different opinions and everything Marvel does doesn't always glitter. You need to respect other people's opinion. If you can't do that, then don't come into a thread cussing full blast.

*Ending transmission.*

The thing thats annoying most of us is the same thing thats annoying Amazing Spider-man fans. Marvel introduces these sudden new changes without any explanation or logic and naturally a lot of us are gonna be irritated. I dont mind a mystery at all, but its hard going into a story scratching your head wondering "wait, how did we get here?". Alot of us want some closure from WWH, we wanna know how it affected Bruce and how it affected everybody else. Instead they are pretending like the event never happened. I will say this is a fun book, and i liked # 6 but its very irritating when very important story elements from WWh and planet hulk are blatantly being ignored.

Rulk did not pick up Mjolnir.

Red Hulk is Glenn Talbot, or his nephew, who's name escapes me.

For those unaware, Glenn was Betty's first husband, and sort of Ross's right hand man. He was in the Ang Lee Hulk movie of course, but portrayed as much more sinister than he was in the comics. Glenn died in about Hulk 250-260.

His Nephew blames Hulk. Would it not make sense that the young Talbot is Rulk? He has the rage.

If thats the case then how the hell does that tie into WWH?
