Official Rulk Thread

If thats the case then how the hell does that tie into WWH?

Did they openly state that it was someone directly involved in WWH? If they did, I never read that statement.

Talbot would be the logical choice for dramatic impact and logic.

Not that'd it'd make me buy this book or anything...

I gotta say, the past few issues have felt like an episode or two of Dragon Ball Z. I mean, its nothing more than Rulk vs. this guy, then Rulk vs. that guy, then Rulk vs. A-&%#@!-Bomb, then Hulk, then Thor...ummm...(rolls a die)...ok, HULK again...

WHERE....I'm BEGGING YOU...WHERE IS THE PLOT!???!

i...need...substanace...

Lost in the first three issues. And nobody can do Dragonball Z except for Toriyama. At least with his characters they're pushing themselves to a higher level. These guys had to gang up on the villain.

Loeb is writing Hulk like he did with Batman "Hush". He may never actually reveal the Rulk's identity not for another 12 issues.

For me, I think it would be a neat twist if the Red Hulk turned out to be non other than .... The RED King. What if he survived, came to Earth to seek revenge on the Hulk who killed him and took his place as Green King of the planet Sakaar. Thus, he came to Earth and became a Red Hulk somehow.

Then how does he know so much about the other superheroes?

Nah its not the red king, its someone in the military. Remember the retina scan? The military machine knew the person.

HAVE YOU FIGURED IT OUT YET?

Put it in spoilers in case I revealed something I wasn't meant to.
So its not Doc Samson and its not Ross,
Its Not Iron Man, or She-Hulk, or Banner, or Rick Jones, or Maria Hill, and its not that SHEILD agent who was found dead (can't remember his name).

Then who is it?

And how did Doc Samson grow out his hair that fast? He had a crew cut almost, and then it was long and wavy. Maybe its still Samson somehow.

(Also, I am not sure if it was meant to seem this way, but it looked like Ross talking to the Red Hulk and Samson talking to Rick were in two different places. They never showed them standing together.)

And what is the deal with the Hulks being able to just know where the others are? And with Rick being A-Bomb. I think it is somehow connected, and because of the WWH story but how?

Ross and Bruce talked about something secretly, then in this issue Ross tells the Red Hulk they gave him everything they needed and he failed so now he is on his own.

The End?

What is going on?

Why dont you just shut up and let the story play out.

The same people *****ing about the same writers, why dont you "guys" stop reading **** that these "stupid" writers are writing. Oh I know why, cause you just wanna have something to ***** about on SHH.com so you can feel important.

Yup! Lucky for me Hulk is a fantastically ****ty comic, giving me plenty to ***** about.

I liked it, up until this last issue, which I don't understand. (read my post above.)
I don't think its over though. Its a fun read, and the art is fun.
(and so far its not a Skrull tie in.)

exactly your a loser and instead of just not liking the book you instead have to feel important by coming on here and ***** to a bunch of losers who will agree with you cause your all the same.

So you don't like the topic or anyone here? Then wtf are you here *****ing to us about ourselves? Too much time on your hands?

BTW, the marvel boards themselves voted hulk as the worst comic out right now.

So the only time we can post our opinions is to say something "nice"? What about the people who did invest time and money on this story? If they bought an issue of Rulk, they have all the right to complain about its quality.

Sorry, I don't do that whole "If you don't have anything nice to say" crap. I take the time to read comics so I can praiser or bash them. Rulk gets the latter.

people need to lighten up,this is a fun book which is a nice alternative to the overall depressing/dark books Marvel is producing

Pfft, I want an alternative to Depressing/dark books, I'll read Incredible Herc. If I run out of Toilet Paper, I'll use this.

yeah.

Can anyone answer some of the questions I have?

No, this is a ******ed book that is a nice alternative to good books. A fun alternative to the depressing bleakness of the majority of Marvel's line would be Incredible Herc or the First Class books.

Nubs is very taken with the idea of public defecation. It's one of his charming little quirks. :)

:):):)

I like the topic, I just don't like how it's always the same people *****ing, it's annoying.

Didnt Loeb say awhile back that by issue 6 we would know the Rulk's identity or did i dream that up?

Not that I know of. When I first got this book I expected that we would find out in the first issue.

Then I expected it in the next issue.

Then I figured that the big conclusion to the first 6-issue arc would be Rulk's identity.

And now there's a solicit for issue 9 where they say that the Lady Liberators are going to be trying to beat up Rulk to find out who he is. So at the very earliest issue 9 is going to be when we find out. I'm starting to think issue 12 will be the "big reveal."

And they actually refer to him as Rulk. So it looks like Loeb isn't even going to name his Rulk form. His name can't be Hulk, we already have a Hulk. And Rulk is just stupid. So wtf?

Anyway, does Hulk take place before or after SI?

If Hulk took place after SI, then why wouldnt the government let Banner out of custody if they where in so much danger.

Signs piont to it taking place before SI.

We havent seen She-Hulk, Doc Samson, Ross, Hulk, or the Rulk. So this leads me to believe that something will happen in the Hulk Comic that will leave all these characters unavailable for SI.

You quadruple posted, but here's my one response:

I figured this mess takes place before SI. I figured the government letting Hulk loose to save the world from an alien invasion is something the Ultimate Universe government would do (and have done).

Whoever Rulk is, they are the Rulk because of that Red energy that Stark hit Hulk with after Rick was supposedly killed. Stark in the background, Hulk in the foreground, Samson, Ross, Jones in the Middle, Stark had to walk by these 3 people before he could get to the Hulk. Coincedentially Jones is now A-Bomb, Samson and Ross where and could still be suspects. In the end this experimental red energy plays a part in what is going on. Stark himself said he wasnt exactly sure what would happen.

Any Thought?
