Haven't you seen the cover of issue #9? That's Storm, She-Hulk, Invisible Woman, Thundra, Valkyrie, Black Widow, Tigra, etc! Those aren't ****es. If they beat the snot out of Red Hulk -AND THEY SHOULD - then he wasn't anything special. All he had going for him was the mystery of his identity. Whoopee-doo. Once "Long Halloween" and "Hush" were over, the hype lost its steam.

I think Rulk will beat those women with ease. Not that he should be able to, but I think it'll happen; given the way this book's been written thus far.

Exactly. What is the sense of continuing with RHulk after the asswhipping the Thor and Hulk gave him. Now looking at the cover he is going to beat up women? Please. Is this what this once unstoppable being has been reduced to? Maybe Loeb shouldn't have created him in the first place.

But couldn't regular green Hulk give those women trouble. Regular Hulk gives the entire Avengers trouble right (unless Thor is with them)? I don't see anybody on that cover that poses a realistic threat. MS.Marvel, Storm, and She-Hulk are the only slight contenders.

I just read Hulk #6 and I've got to admit it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. It's so over-the-top and there's always tons of ass kicking going on in pretty much every single issue so that's certainly not a bad thing when it comes to Hulk comics. Of course it has it's problems but I guess it could be worse.

But on the other hand, I just got done reading Skaar Son of Hulk Presents: Savage World of Sakaar and I was completely blown away.

If you've been following Skaar you should know that he smashed Axeman Bone and now he is traveling with Old Sam, Princess Omaka, and a bunch of other people to Prophet Rock where he will gain the "old power" portion of his power (from his mom's side of the family). It basically told a story and in the process, told a few other stories as well. The stories were all pretty cool stories that give a lot of background and history as well as additional characterization to characters like Princess Omaka and Skaar.

The art was just amazing. Pagulayan's work, he penciled the main story, was the best it's ever been due to Jana Schirmer's incredible job on colors. Really top-notch art. The rest of the stories that were essentially diving into things that have happened in the past were handled by other really great artists like Timothy Green II (from Conquest: Starlord fame) who really did an amazing job. He really brought out the sci-fi aspect of the story and the artists weren't too bad either.

Just have to take a moment to rave about my favorite book right now.

Provide extra targets to pummel while the women who can actually hurt Rulk get their shots in.

Alternatively, the Black Widow could shoot Rulk. Seemed to work pretty well against the Super-Skrulls who are owning various other, more powerful heroes in SI.

The only one that could feasibly hurt Rulk is the Invisible Woman, and that's assuming she really wants to take him down. She-Hulk? Thundra? A minor annoyance really.

Who's that flying woman? If it's Ms. Marvel, that would help a lot. Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Thundra, and the Invisible Woman could actually amount to a pretty powerful team. Separately they wouldn't do much of anything of course but I think they could at least hurt Rulk.

And you never know what kinds of weapons or environmental advantages they can get.

But yeah, this will probably just drag out until issue 12.

So he can jump from the moon to the earth but a saturday night special lays him low? Hmm...it is Loeb, so...

You know what's crazy that I just realized? [blackout]Ross and Samson wanted Rulk to kill Hulk and Abomination. Samson said they gave him everything he needed to "Destroy" Hulk. And Banner was locked up pretty harmlessly until Rulk caused the earthquake that freed Hulk. What the hell? Samson is a good guy and he wouldn't do that!

But how cheesy was the whole, "The red Hulk is -- Gggnnnn!" *Phtoom!*[/blackout]
