Good to have confrimation that Weaving will return.

And it's frekin awesome that Mckellen likes the TV-series Flight of the Conchords.

Great to hear Weaving is back.

So... I know it's so soon, but when do you think we'll get a trailer? I'm thinking Tin Tin.

I'm thinking a big WB film, so maybe Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows?

And one more thing, it's spelled Tintin. :cwink:

My baaad.

I thought of Holmes as well. But I'm pretty sure the first footage filled trailer for TDKR will be with Holmes. Would they premiere two of their movies with it? That would make sense too.

No harm done.

A trailer for TDKR attached to Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows is possible too. It will be great if we got both trailers though that's probably unlikely. We just have to wait and see.

Well I'm sure TDKR will be attached to Sherlock, its the only big tent pole film they are doing in December and all of Nolan's blockbuster films had second trailers in December. So I think it would be no different. There really is no such thing as a crowded trailer space, if they got the films for it they will show it. I'm thinking a Hobbit teaser, TDKR trailer 2, and maybe a teaser for MOS as well in December. Maybe they will spread it out, but Sherlock Holmes during that time of the year will have the best bet of having a large audience going to see it.

Is it sad that this was my reaction?

Is it just me, or does his beard seem shorter?

Great photo to wake up to .

Yes! Been waiting to see Gandalf the Grey again since 2001. I always liked him better than Gandalf the White.

His expression reminds me of his "I have no memory of this place" face. :woot:

That pic was a wonderful way to start my day. He looks the exact same as he did in Fellowship. It feels like I'm 10-11 again.

I actually think he looks a bit younger than he did in FOTR, which is a good thing.

Oh, Lord. Even with the glasses on, he looks perfect. He looks exactly the same as he did 10 years ago.

:wow::wow::wow:

The nose seems bigger than I remember it being, but still :wow::wow::wow:
That's classic Gandalf the Grey nose action right there. I think he had a smaller nose as Gandalf the White.

I think it could be the glasses he's wearing. Plus the angle and all. Some things may have changed to increase the size. I expect it to look pretty much the same on film. Jackson or McKellen did say they are using a different type of prosthetic for the nose.

Seriously. Does his beard look shorter to anyone else?
