I've seen quite a few places on the net where Natalie Portman has been suggested as Sif. I say no to that. I'm not a big fan of her acting. Plus, does anyone think she's attractive enough to play Sif?
Hey, if they can have a 6'3 Wolverine and a 5'7 Iron Man, why can't they have a petite Sif?I think Portman is attractive enough. But the comics portray Sif as a tough, swordfighting warrior-woman. And I don't get that vibe from Portman. Especially since she's tiny and would have to stand on a box much of the time if the rest of the cast ends up being somewhere around 6"2'.
IMO, I think she'd do a really good job. Not a bad choice. How about Rachel Nicholls as Jane Foster?
I don't think those characters were truly affected by change in height. Wolverine looked different from the comic version but he still looked badass and that's what important. Short Tony Stark still looked like a cocky, hedonistic playboy. A petite Sif in the middle of all those big, hairy viking-types might look out of place.Hey, if they can have a 6'3 Wolverine and a 5'7 Iron Man, why can't they have a petite Sif?
No. Its weird and it distracts me when I see her on-screen. She wouldnt be horrible but i'd much rather see someone else as Sif.
Why do people keep posting that picture as an example of Sif? She's the goddess equivalent of a teenager there.http://media.photobucket.com/image/lady sif/AnubisGOD/Marvel/THOR_SON_OF_ASGARD_3_Adi_Granov.jpg
looks pretty average to me she's no emma frost or anything Natalie would work just fine
