I'd love for Enchantress to be in the movie, and that would be my top choice for Kat Dennings to be playing. But in the first draft of the script, Loki's accomplice was a kind of Enchantress/Karnilla amalgamation, called Karnilla. So perhaps Karnilla is more likely.

However, I think the most likely role for her to be playing is that of one of Jane Foster's friends in the hospital. Wasn't there a casting call released recently for a plucky young nurse working in New Mexico?

Kate Dennings requires too much money, is too well known, and too damn smoking hot to be such a D-Level character in the film. My guess is that she will play another Asgardian, be it Enchantress or Karnilla.

Physically, she's pretty spot on. Just give her a blonde dye job, blue contacts and a box to stand on. Acting-wise? I have no idea. The only thing I've ever seen her in is 40YOV which is not enough to get a good grasp of her acting talent. But you're most likely right.

She has blue eyes already, I think. Google imaged her and saw that she has at one time been a blond too.

Dennings requires too much money? I really doubt that since she hasnt even had an overly successful movie while being the lead role. Dennings it too well known? Hardly. Im sure shes still considered "that girl from 40 Year Old Virgin or Nick and Norah."

Id put money that shes a nurse companion of Portman's rather than Enchantress, which she is just not right for at all.

I hate to talk ill of Kat, since I do like her, but she'd be a horrible choice for Enchantress.

Her figure isn't even close to Enchantress's. Her boobs are huge, true, but her body isn't as rockin as Enchantress is supposed to be, not to mention her face is a little lackluster.

She's not gonna be Enchantress.

Well yeah it's been confirmed that she's not Enchantress but maybe I just like thicker chicks but that's definitely an Enchantress I'd be happy with.t: As for the face, I find her pretty but not in that girl next door way, which is actually perfect for Enchantress. A kind of sultry, almost porn star look. But hey if the issue for you would just be thickness, nothing a treadmill can't do (boooo). She's got the right curves in the right places as far as I'm concerned.

Regardless of who she's playing, her presence bumped this movie up several notches in my book.

does anybody really believe there's even gonna be room for Enchantress in this movie? I would rather wait and see Amora and Skurge fully fleshed out in the sequel.

You've got a point. It's just that Kat has some cred, and it would be weird to see her play a throw away character.
