I'm excited. I watched Rendition and now I'm really excited.

Fantastic movie.

I saw it a year ago at a press screening.

It really boosted my confidence in Hood as a director (he had already been announced) and in Gyllenhaal as an actor.

*Jake's another guy that turned to the weights for Prince of Persia.

The guy's lookin big.

Dolph I think is basically the embodiment of the original Mighty Thor.

Kevin I feel is the more brutal and savage lookin Ultimate Thor.

I think a fight between those two would be better than the Hulk vs Abom match in TIH :wow:

Hell, Dolph coulda played the 'savage looking' Thor as well as the 'traditional' Thor:-

He certainly does look different, doesnt he?

He was absolutely nuts as the cyborg Street Preacher in Johnny Mnemonic; I think he had fun in that role.

with every new suggestion or new BLONDE tall actor the casting comedy continues...."pulls out the popcorn and enjoys the show"

We as the fans should be very knowledgeable about THOR, the casting process, who seems like a shoe in and who could surprise us as the underdog casting....BUT....some of these choices are so far from what is actually right for the movie i truly wonder IF u want THOR to succeed....smh...

So far marvel has been on point with their castings and I believe they will continue to make wise decisions about their franchises....

BTW one t.v. show/mini-series does NOT i repeat does NOT put anyone in the front running for THOR, a MOVIE track record is 1st...NOT who's hot on a t.v. series....UNLESS u have a successful string on ALL the above (profitable movies, successful t.v. series, highly rated/award winning mini-series...etc.) If your suggestion does NOT fall into ALL three of these categories then your actor has a slim to no chance at all.... TRUST ME!!! (just trying to save some useless post) hint... hint.....
Y'know, this isn't the 1st time you've made a cryptic post like this one but no one has taken the bait.

I'll buck that trend - You seem to infer that you know something we dont and; Are you claiming that you have some inside knowledge or something?

Then maybe we all could just sit back, eat some popcorn and enjoy the comedy?

Please, by all means, enlighten us..................
I noticed that too. I was just waiting for him to bust out with info. My guess is, he’s talking about Kevin… and not of the grandpa steroid abuser variety. :whatever:

Dolf in his prime has the Thor look. He’s build & is good looking (at least that’s what my wife tells me)

Marvel is gonna have these boards goin crazy when they announce who they have cast as Thor

No doubt;

All I can say is, if it is McKidd - they better get some damn big lifts built into those boots because a 6 foot only Thor just doesnt cut it.

Lifts are gonna have to used to get the right height for Thor,

You know what would be a good role for Kevin Nash is Lobo.

Better run for cover, Ronny; you'll have all the Andrew Bryniarski fans descending upon you shortly.

So youre saying it is McKidd then? ;)

I don't believe that. At the time, even McKidd himself was quick to state that he was being approached for another role in the movie (not Thor's). Based on the script, I would say Balder (he's older, wiser and married).

You know what would be a good role for Kevin Nash is Lobo.

Funny you mentioned that. I always though he looked like a biker version of Santa Claus. He would be good in the role of Santa, if the Lobo movie were based on the "Lobo Christmas Special" edition.

Off topic but:-

Is this a big thing in the supes forums? I don't go there any more.

Not that I know of - it's just the last time I suggested someone as Lobo the 'Bryniarski for Lobo' brigade came out in force.

EDIT: My pick for Lobo was Adam Baldwin btw.

It won't be Mckidd! He has already publicly stated this fact. Could he be involved maybe(ODIN?) I don't know anything is possible but not THOR. I like Kevin a lot he was great in Rome.Brad Pitt is also a no go due to his schedule unless he drops out of something. He is pretty well locked up right now. If marvel wants a headliner they better work fast. We may hear something sooner than expected since the studios are really pushng everything into production due to possible SAG strike. It all depends on how which direction they decide to go.:word:

Dolph was literally perfect for Thor, visually speaking.

Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! Wow. What a hunk!!!!!

Kisses SB! (muuuuahh) I had no idea Dolph was that buff!!!! I love it!

Perfect Thor!
