You can't have the guy who played Sabretooth go on and play Thor.
Yes, they can.
It's only a matter of if they want to.

He's NOBODY who fist fights for fun.Hes Cap, not thor
Ah right; gotcha.
I simply mis-interpreted your post.
Loki - Vincent Cassell (Has a mischeivious quality - perfect for Loki)
Odin - Brian Blessed (C'mon - I mean, just look at him - that and he has that booming voice)
Balder - Dylan McDermott (Is able to project an air of honourability - just like 'Brave' Balder)
Echantress - Sienna Miller (Gorgeous but a bit wild - see 'Alfie' for reference)
Fendrall - Ethan Hawke (Obviously, Erroll Flynn or Cary Elwes in 'The Princess Bride' woulda been perfect - Hawkes' is the next best thing for 'Dashing' Fendral)
Hogun - Jason Patrick (Again, like above, Charles Bronson woulda been a mean Hogun but Patrick just fits the bill - perfect to play 'Grim' Hogun because everytime I see Patrick in a movie he seems goddamn morose)
Absolutely stumped on Sif and Falstaff though.............
Not a bad list. I like Ethan Hawke and Brian Blessed is such a funny and underused actor. And Sienna Miller as the Enchantress isn't half bad either.Ah right; gotcha.

I'll give you credit for making a list, but I think you have what is probably the worst list I have ever seen. There's nothing appealing about it. The only thing that looks like great casting is Vincent Cassell as Loki. It looks like you're basing your list on looks alone. Your choices are pretty out of date with today's stars. Jason Patric? Dylan McDermott? Brian Blessed?
Sorry. You're not going to put people in the seats with those names.
I do give you credit for trying though. Keep trying.

For Falstaff, did you mean Volstagg?
I'm throwing you some names.
Abraham Benrubi (E.R.)
Shuler Hensley (The Frankestein in Van Helsing, a musical actor friend of Hugh Jackman)
Jorge Garcia (Hurley in Lost)
Will Sasso ( Carl Monari in "Less than perfect")
And if it's a problem of Vincent Cassel trying to lose his French accent for LOKI, then you can get Cassel look-a-like and good actor as well - Richard Coyle, star of UK's COUPLING and the villain in A GOOD YEAR. He can act funny and he can act viscious, good enough to play Lokie:
