Hey Changeling, the pm function isn't working for me for some reason. Could you pm me the Thor script please?

I've been gunning for JPR the moment I laid eyes on him. Marvel screentest the guy already.

Can we stop posting these James P. Rogers pictures??? I mean without the facial hair the guy basically has the face of a fat woman with a man's body... he's hideous....

:pal: FaT_tONle, you almost made me spray my coffee all over my monitor!

Lolz -me too.

He certainly is devoid of any 'classic' Nordic facial features.

I guess it takes longer for some to get it then others....smh....

I like the guys post with the pics, he NAILED it with Kevin Mckidd as donald blake (i think 80% of people on here agree with that casting).

I do believe that Kevin can gain 10-15 pnds of muscle/weight, the thor boots can have 3-4inch lifts making him 6'4, then camera ADDS 10 pds of weight too. Why NOT keep the same actor who can ACT to deliver the thor lines as well? j.m.o.

With his upcoming appearance on Grey's he will become a household name over the next 6mths. All the other guys being mentioned are struggling in independents and small t.v./film movies or cable series that aren't garnering ANY type of praise for that actor...

Also I hear bunraku will be the sleeper hit of 2009.... check out the cast list!! www.imdb.com/bunraku

Funny, I was never under the impression that both Thor and Blake shared the same face.

I always thought the similiarity ended at the blonde hair.

good point...BUT the transformation to me is more about the size and muscle than the face changing too much. It depends on if they go with a clean shaven blake, then a bearded thor with long hair...we'll see..

Correct. Thor and Blake are completely different people with completely different personalities and appearances. They don't really need to have anything in common and probably shouldn't.

Awesome.

I knew there was something not quite right with his look but I couldn’t put my finger on it.

Since this is a movie and it’s important to have audiences connect with Thor, I think it would make sense to have Thor & Blake played by the same actor. Many of the audience may not know about Thor and it would make Thor more relateable to them via same face with Blake, since Thor's personality can put people off. IMO

very intelligent way of making a valid point. Most audiences dont know the history of thor. Think of it this way, EVERYONE knows the hulk and dr. banner are two different people. U dont need to do that with thor, he can be the same person, height and muscle does not mean a different actor. Weights, lifts, camera angles (i.e. lord of the rings) all can be used to keep us connected to the character through the same actor no matter who it is.

Why cast a known guy for Blake and an unknown big guy for thor or vice versa?

I predict they'll go the same actor route if they go with Blake/Thor. There's also the possibility of them going Ultimate therefor not even needing to address the alter ego.
