Nice that they got Hela's newfound appearance and locale right. I'll happily continue skipping Dark Avengers and New Mutants, though. I never really liked that some pissant mutant like Moonstar became a Valkyrie in the first place.

I have yet to read much of the original New Mutants series. It's one of those things I have to get to one day. The only thing I remember from New Mutants now is thoroughly enjoying the issues where Birdbrain first shows up.

Really doesn't tell us anything about the content of his arc, but it was nice to see Gillen geek out and philosophize about Thor. I like that he considers Thor a fundamental part of the Marvel universe. The Avengers' big three are the big three for a reason.

Eh, I've never liked the attempts to equate them with the DC big three (who are themselves artificially inflated in importance, I think). What do any of those three mean to the X-Men? Nothing, really. Cap, Iron Man, and Thor being at loggerheads wouldn't affect them in the slightest. Neither would it Spider-Man (in his classic mode), or any of the average heroes on the street.

Sounds like he'll do a good job, though.

F**k the X-Men and Spider-Man and the average heroes on the street.

I'm just saying, non-Avengers characters don't worry themselves at night whether the Avengers big three are on speaking terms.

I think Cap has had influence over the X-Men here and there, and I'm pretty sure they hate Iron Man right now. =/

However, everybody should keep a mindful eye on Thor's mood. I know I would.

The only X-Man to even acknowledge Cap is dead, so far as I know, is Wolverine, and that was as an Avenger.

Iron Man never did anything to them (if anything, in their limited interactions he did his best to be friendly), but that had nothing to do with the default status of him, Cap, and Thor.

Actually a majority of Marvel heroes are much more concerned about the Incredible Hulks Mood.

Dude, guy has a kingdom floating over the land, used to basically run the world through military might, and oh yeah, restructured a moon. :o

Hulk can get blasted into space, and come back and be dealt with.

Thor had to actually choose not to obliterate them. lol

And Iron Man sorta was the poster boy to the Registration Act, an act I'm sure they felt great things about.

They didn't fall under it (and were already registered, anyway). In their tie-in, he showed up to help them. They weren't on his side, but he wasn't an archenemy or anything.

Hulk beat back nearly every major Marvel hero, including Dr.Strange, and it if the sentry didn' get involved he would of won. did you not read world war Hulk?

I think you're once again missing the point.

Hulk was stopped.

Thor decided to stop.

Yeah, and then assigned sentinels to force them to live on their land while always being supervised. :p

I did, and I'm pretty sure a sattelite Stark built pummelled him into the ground.

Where....and let me say it again for you guys, Thor couldn't be stopped.

Hulk wanted to get hit with the sattelite, he told tony to do it, becasue he was about to destroy the east coast.

And what did the sattelite do? It stopped him.

What stopped Thor? Absolutely nothing.

Wait wait wait. ASKED him to do it?

I'm gonna have to go back and reread that. The only time I heard anybody getting asked to stop Hulk BY Hulk was when Robert Reynolds punched out Bruce Banner.
