Going to Vegas on Friday to report on UFC 155, so I will be there live and cageside.

i live in vegas maybe you could get me a seat next to you and i could help you report things

Why?! So JDS can smash out Cain again? They should have given Cain a couple more fights.

Cain slaughtered Bigfoot. Who else was left really?

I wouldn't count out Velasquez. He wasn't as aggressive as he was in past fights and he stood right in front of JDS (similar to what he did in the Kongo fight). I don't know what his gameplan was but I didn't like it. He didn't try to smother JDS enough.

Cain has a big fanbase right now I'm sure Dana wants to cash in on it before his popularity dies down before or if he loses again.

He only had a minute to set something up before JDS tagged him. No feeling out in the first round this time, he has to setup his game plan and attack right at the start.

UFC 155 picks:

JDS/Cain - This fight proves how shallow and, sorry to say, sucky the heavyweight division is. Cain wins one fight, yes, in devastating fashion, yet I wish he would have gotten a couple more fights in before challenging for the title again. Cain is probably my favorite HW, besides Mir, and like Mir, he is going to get blasted by JDS. Cain has a very aggressive style, which will cost him this fight. JDS is the perfect counter boxer and there is no way Cain gets this fight to the ground and if he does, I don't see it staying there for longer than 5 seconds. JDS within two rounds.

Lauzon/Miller - Both these guys are going to come out swinging, and its all going to come down to who lands what first and can capitalize on it, which both these guys are great at. I see this fight ending within 2 minutes. Lauzon by RNC.

Boetsch/Philippou - I don't see Boetsch standing with Philippou, if only to get the takedown. He rides it out with a unanimous decision. I don't think this will be a very good fight to watch. Both guys are riding win streaks, and I can see both guys not fighting to win, but rather not to lose.

Okami/Belcher - This is a tough fight for me to pick. I can see both these guys not doing a lot in the first round. Feeling out the stand up and looking for openings. Belcher by decision. Although I want to see Belcher make another statement and knock Okami out.

Leben/Brunson - I think the UFC is giving Leben this fight since he had the long layoff. Leben by decision. But yes, I'd like to see a knockout.

Velasquez probably has the best single-leg takedown in the sport today. I have no doubts that Cain can take JDS down if he manages to make his opponent uncomfortable against the fence (it's always a recipe for disaster). The question will be, can Cain bully Dos Santos into a corner? That remains to be seen. As for Velasquez keeping down JDS, I'm not worried about Junior standing back up because Cain has the ability to keep him off balance and take him down over and over again. He did to Rothwell, Kongo and Silva easily.

The only way I can see Cain winning the fight is if it goes beyond 2 rounds & Dos Santos starts to tire.. which we have seen in fights against Carwin & Nelson while I wouldn't say he has bad cardio by any means, I think he'll tire quicker than Cain will if it's sustained pressure from Velasquez.

Now if it's under 2 rounds, I think Dos Santos has good enough takedown defense to keep the fight on the feet, combined with the fact he is the bigger overall man I think Cain will struggle to get him down. He'll be taking a big risk with a guy with the power, handspeed & uppercut of Dos Santos to just lunge in there at a leg of Junior.

Basically, I think Cain won't be able to get him down & keep him down for long & I think JDS will win via KO/TKO again inside 2 rounds.

I'm taking Cain for a couple of reasons. First of all I'm a fan that really wants him to win. lol Secondly I would like it if there was some mix up in the heavies considering JDS has already beaten so many top guys already. Plus it would open up a trilogy between the two considering they're the best heavyweight prospects to top talent in a long time. I think that Cain is on a mission to really put in a ton of wrestling effort this time. For what it's worth I don't think that his gameplan was bad the last time. It only lasted a minute, but he was clearly working a good game of throwing some body shots to set up a takedown eventually, but JDS has super fast hands from Mount Olympus.

I don't mind if JDS wins again because I like the guy, but I'm a Cain fan that's pulling for him to get the title back.

JDS is on fire right now. His timing, speed and power will be too much for Cain again.

Anyone else think that Cain looked a little softer than usual at the weigh in? In terms of his physique he has never been super ripped, but just like he looked in the last fight with JDS he just looked like he was carrying a little more timber than usual.. & not the good kind.

Whereas in my opinion against Silva he looked that little bit tighter & in shape.

I hope I don't see JDS KO him again then for it to come out that he had some sort of injury in camp..

I'm really not particularly interested in anything but Cain/JDS. I'd like to see Cain win, but I'm thinking his chances are fairly slim.

Felt sorry for Tim Boetsch, breaks his hand, eats a headbutt, and gets poked in the eye.

Am I crazy for giving Lauzon rounds 2 and 3? Both men should be proud. Wish Goldberg was calling it with Rogan though

I could not have been more wrong in my picks. Man....

Cain had an awesome gameplan. I'm glad he's back on top. It was pure domination all around. One thing that disappointed me was him gassing. I'm a huge fan, but he shouldn't have been gassed when he was the one whupping ass the whole time. JDS looks like E.T. right now.
