Dana just said Jacare/Okami will happen next.

And Mousasi has called out Belfort to a fight at 185. Sounds like Dana wants the Silva/Weidman winner vs. Belfort though.

Now that's a fight I want to see. Belfort is too reckless for Ando.

Anybody else see the weigh-ins? Bigfoot came out and threw his hat into the crowd before stepping on the scales, and it landed in one of the aisles. The camera cut to a woman running from her seat to the aisle where the hat landed, but right before she could grab it, this guy appears from nowhere and picks it up first, only to hand it to the woman, who then hugs the guy. Probably the coolest thing I've seen at a weigh-in.

Belfort just knocked out another top contender. Silva is #1, and Belfort is #2. I don't know why fans and media aren't pushing for this fight. Silva and Belfort aren't getting any younger. If they're going to fight again, let's get it done right now.

It might just be my imagination, but did it look to anyone else like Velasquez looked abit more flabby than usual.. ? I hope it's just my imagination because if Silva somehow actually beats Velasquez, I don't want it coming out after that he was carrying an injury towards the end of his camp..

I'm most excited for Dos Santos/Hunt, that fight has the potential from either side to be ended inside 1 round.

Cain's always kind of carried that around. He's never looked super jacked or cut, even for a heavyweight.

I know that, he has a build somewhat loosely like Shogun's in the sense that you can always kinda tell how hard Shogun has worked in camp just by looking at his torso & the weight he carries.

I dunno yesterday it looked like Velasquez looked a little heavier than usual. Could be my imagination though.

Because Silva already embarrassed him? I'm sorry, but I'm not impressed by what he did to Rockhold.

I both agree & disagree with you here. Silva's victory over Belfort was so emphatic it kinda takes away the suspense of a rematch as, at least on paper, you would expect Silva to destroy him again.

However I disagree because he has KO/TKO'd 2 contenders in his last 2 fights, as well as almost upsetting Jon Jones since his defeat to Silva. He is by far the most deserving challenger to Silva at MW at this juncture. Far moreso than Weidman is that's for sure.

The middleweight division is shallow. Sure, he KOed Rockhold and Bisping but those victories are against mid-tier competition. Bisping and Rockhold aren't elite in my honest opinion. In addition, a rematch, stylistically, doesn't intrigue me. It'd be like Velasquez-Silva II tonight. Vitor has powerful hands but he's too reckless for someone like Ando. It's a goddamn waste of a PPV.

Silva only has 2-3 fights left before he calls it a career. I don't want him to throw a bone at Belfort just because of his star power and recent wins.

That was an awesome ass card. Grant messed up my XBox picks by winning, but that was a good knockout.

Hunt/JDS was awesome. Happy for Grant. Maynard just kind of rubs me the wrong way. I think he didn't give Grant enough respect or credit before this fight.

To be honest, I don't think the MW division is shallow, it's got the same as any other division it's got between 4-7 guys that could all be considered contenders & in truth if Anderson wasn't around it would be a very competitive division.. same as the LHW division was before Jones came along.

Personally I feel the Silva/Weidman matchup is more of a waste of a PPV & matchup for Anderson. Weidman I feel offers no substantial threat to a striker of Anderson's quality on the feet & I don't feel he is more of a wrestling threat than Chael. It sounds bad, but if Weidman somehow shocks the world & beats Anderson it will be down to Silva's complacency or his age will finally show, because Silva should be destroying him.

One look at JDS vs Carwin/Nelson/Mir and many others(but those three in particular).
I don't see how anyone could not see this fight ending this way.
Hunts not better than those three.

This here Villain had to go for Cain Velasquez, and it is wonderful to see that my own city's fighter came out on top, though there really was never any doubt.

Stephan Bonnar and Forrest Griffin will be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame later this summer.

The reasoning for the Hype is Hunt's K-1 background. I had JDS myself, but Hunt has still retained some of what made him a good kickboxer back then. The issue though is JDS' speed. Even if Hunt was younger Dos Santos would be a handful based on how fast his hands are. It made for a good fight. Hunt definitely did a decent amount of damage, so it wasn't a waste of a replacement fight with Overeem being out.

The Fox Sports 1 card is looking amazing. Bendo vs. Grant, Overeem vs. Browne, Matt Brown vs. Thiago Alves, and Lauzon vs. Michael Johnson. For a free card that's pretty good.

Looks good to me. I guess Henderson will forever be the king of the free card.

Meisha Tate is getting a rematch with Ronda Rousey.

You got to love the irony of Pettis challenging Aldo because he didn’t want to wait for Henderson… now both of those fights will happen within a month of each other.

Lil Nog is out of the Shogun fight with a back injury. Can’t imagine too many guys wanting to fight Shogun on two weeks notice.

Silva is already in camp, and while he wouldn’t get as much time, he’d make up for it by not having to cut as much weight.

The only problem would be 162, and that’s an easy fix. Belfort is still in shape, so just feed Weidman to him. That’s a better fight anyway.

Sonnen has taken the fight on 13 days notice, and it's apparently been confirmed from the sources that originally quoted Lil Nog's injury. That man has some stones, he fades late and gets stopped after dominating early.
