Cormier vs. Rumble for the vacant belt. All I have to say is war Rumble, Jones made Cormier look like a doofus.

Took them long enough to finally do something about Jones.

I really hope that Jones gets the help that he needs. It sucks seeing young, talented guys have a down fall due to personal issues in their lives. It's not a stretch to say that Jones is the most talent fighter to come along in MMA, and he's still got potential to do more. I really hope that this doesn't end like Mike Tyson where all that talent goes to waste outside of the cage. Yes Bones has solidified himself as one of the three greatest mixed martial artists of all time, in my opinion, but this should not be the end of his career. Since he's stripped of the title he needs to take time and get himself together, then come back and deliver the fights we know he can.

Bones Jones disappoints me so much. Get some help, my dude. You are f***ing up astronomically.

:down

Everyone loves a comeback story.

Bellator just started foaming at the mouth.

I doubt Dana would cut Jones. He'll be suspended for a year, or longer depending on how long his legal issues are dealt with. After that he'll get a chance for his comeback story in the UFC. There's too much money on the table with Jones for the UFC to cut him. I imagine that they will try and push his redemption tour a year or two from now, or maybe sooner than that.

Vince McMahon already has next WM headline

Brock vs Jon

UFC did the right thing stripping him of the title. It's very fishy that he actually ran from the crash site, it almost confirms that he was drunk or high as there is no reason to run from a car crash. The only other excuse would be if he was wildly speeding.. but given his history I'd think it was the former.

He needs to go away & sort himself out.

Man, Jon Jones is undefeated in the octagon but not at life. 1-6 thus far:

Bentley meets tree
Homophobic slurs on twitter
Brawl with Cormier
Cocaine pop
Driving into Miss Daisy

His only victory was the mugging he stopped before he won the title, which I have now think that it was simply a coke deal gone bad between Jon and his dealer.

Don't forget the tweet that Jones made, that clearly showed a pipe on his counter in the background.

Hilarious that it turns out Punk / Brooks is just as two faced as the very WWE co-workers he was ranting about.

Does Daniel Cormier have a tough cut to 205? I realise he took the fight on a month or so's notice, but just watching the weigh in he looked very, very drained in comparison to what he normally looks like.

So far I've only seen the Cormier/Rumble & Weidman/Belfort fights, I've got the rest recorded & I'll probably watch it later.

Thought Weidman showed good composure, weathered abit of a storm when Vitor started teeing off on him. Whether he would admit it or not I think he was a little stunned by that barrage which triggered him to try to take him down. His takedown was absolutely glorious. Timed it to perfection. Has to be said though, Vitor looked absolutely terrible on the ground. He's supposed to be BJJ black belt & he allowed Weidman to pass his guard so easily, then when he got mounted tried to throw punches at Weidman from below with Weidman fully mounted, postured up & raining bombs on him... absolutely crazy bad display from Vitor on the ground. Anytime I've ever seen him fighting off his back he has looked very solid, but last night he looked like a white belt.

As for Rumble/Cormier, very good fight. Rumble I think somewhat cost himself the fight because throwing those head & body kicks was what ultimately led to him getting into a grappling match with DC. I'd have liked to have seen him learn from the first round & try to use his hands more to simply make DC have to work for the takedown more. Very good display though from Cormier, took some heavy, heavy shots from Rumble & managed to grind him down. Rumble has earned himself a new fan though in me, he went in there & didn't care for the fact that DC was such a strong grappler, fought his own fight & tried to take Cormier's head off. Would happily watch a rematch between these 2.. in fact I hope we see one again.

Also can I just say, I don't care too much for Cormier's tactic on trying to tire Rumble when he had him down, there was a couple of occassions when he purposely had his hand over Rumble's mouth/nose restricting his breathing.. to me this is kind of a dirty tactic.

Don't look up any results. Just watch the Arlovski/Browne fight. That was the best fight on a card full of great fights.

Disappointing main event. I hate Jones, and I'm looking forward to him coming back now. With DC we're going to be seeing boring clinch fights from now on.

As far as Belfort goes I'm disappointed as hell. I find it hard to believe that Weidman finished Belfort in one round where it took Jones four, and Belfort nearly subbed Jones from his back with an armbar. But he couldn't defend himself in the slightest against Weidman?

Vitor's lack of cardio did him in. He had Weidman hurt during that flurry, but after that he was gassed. His ground game is normally better than that, but he offered no kind of reasonable resistance because he was too tired to do anything. Maybe the TRT really helped him so much that he's got little without it.

That's what it also looked like to me. I find it hard to believe that an MMA fighter's ground game is that sloppy.

Like, he has shown intelligence on the ground before but he tried punching out of mount. To be fair, being mounted by Weidman isn't the easiest situation to get out of, but Belfort shouldn't have let it reach there in the first place.

Carlos Condit is back! Watch out welterweight division!

Also...Miesha Tate watching the fights.

Eh, my attraction for Tate faded the moment she started acting like a 15 year attention ****e on Twitter.

And, yes, Condit is the man. The guy is so underrated by the casual fans. His tenacity, technique and heart make him a nightmare.

Her acting like a 15 year old is not what concerns me ;) .
