Anyone have any idea when we should hear an indicment in the Jon Jones case? Last I heard it was going to be the end of June, and analysts projected in the area of two years in prison.

Could be a while. My understanding, his case is still in discovery phase before it goes in front of the judge and they decide to prosecute or not. I doubt he serves any serious jail time. If so, it will be very little like what happened with Diaz's DUI cases.

That's because Aldo doesn't want to get his ass whooped in front of the world, lol.

It wouldn't surprise me. if athletes are not above cheating, then they are not above faking or milking injuries either, which athletes have done too. Not saying that's what happened here, but it just came off like Aldo was looking for a way out of the fight.

Condit/Lawler for the title and Hendricks/Woodley are rumored for December. I've been under the impression Hendricks wants to get a title shot. Love the way these fights were booked. And I know Woodley beat Condit due to injury, but I really think Condit would beat Woodley. Woodley was tired at the end of round 1. Condit was willing to eat a few overhand rights to get inside and make it a scrap, because he knew he had to make it a war, and when things started to go Condit's way Woodley spammed takedowns, and Condit blew his knee. The way I see it, a chin is the biggest attribute in five round wars, and Lawler has a glass jaw. Condit has the best chin in the UFC.

It's not official yet. Hendricks says he hasn't received an offer to fight Woodley yet.

I'm fine with Condit/Lawler since it would be an awesome fight. IMHO, I am in no rush to see Hendricks/Lawler III. We saw it twice last year.

Holy crap!!!! I'd pay to see that fight. Condit is one of my favorite fighters of all-time and Lawler is cut from the same cloth. Count me in! Neither one gives up or surrenders until the ref steps in.

And I agree. Woodley got lucky that Carlos got injured. He was starting to look a little tired after launching all those haymakers.

Cruz vs. Dillashaw would be an awesome match for people who love good footwork and movement. I could see it going down as great as Edgar vs. Maynard 2 if Cruz can stay healthy enough to use his good speed.

No, I'd say that was during Carano's tenure in MMA. Women's MMA is in a better place nowadays but still needs more prospects.

Watching the few divisions, how not? They don't even have enough quality fighters to do a legit P4P top 10. Mid-00 Pride had 4-5 legit guys at each weightclass.

True, but at least women who are legitimate wrestlers and kickboxers are coming over now. They just gotta develop into MMA fighters. Trust me, we're in a better place. I give it another five years before we see more depth but WMMA is no longer a joke.

Cyborg is a steroid using cheat. Why should anybody give her a fight. If she wasn't juicing she probably wouldn't have even beaten Carano. Looking at that fight Carano was obviously the more skilled fighter Cyborg just overwhelmed her with her juiced up strength and stamina.
