Will they move it to 200?

No Jon Jones will now face Ovince Saint Preux for an interim LHW title. Apparently Rumble had to turn down fight because he's recovering from surgery to his mouth.

They want Jones to have the belt so bad, it is embarrassing.

Dana White says that Ronda Rousey should be back by either November or December.

Meisha Tate defends her title against Amanda Nunes at UFC 200.

Hope it's an addition and not instead of Cormier/Jones or Lawler or RDA defending their titles. Already three 5 rounders though, so wouldn't surprise me if that's the co-main. And that would be disappointing. I know we've seen two title fights quite a few times over the years, but three? If they add another title fight that would be four 5 round fights, counting the Diaz-McGregor fight, and while I don't think every one of them would go the distance I wouldn't be shocked if Aldo-Edgar went the full five. Unless they make the card a four hour show they're only going to have four fights on the card.

Extremely bummed Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson has been canceled because Ferguson pulled out due to injury.

Ferguson has been on fire, and Khabib hasn't been in the octagon in years, but is undefeated with his last win coming off of Rafael Dos Anjos. This was a big fight that I was looking forward to.

Seems like Penn/Siver is happening at UFC 199. Very excited.

Dos Anjos to defend his title against Alvarez July 7th at the MGM Grand in Vegas, exclusively on Fight Pass though. He better hope McGregor KOs Diaz. He isn't marketable enough to make it up, unless the UFC give him McGregor at some point which I'm doubting they do.

Heavyweight Fabrício Werdum (c) vs. Stipe Miočić
Middleweight Ronaldo Souza vs. Vitor Belfort
Middleweight Anderson Silva vs. Uriah Hall
Catchweight (140 lbs) Cristiane Justino vs. Leslie Smith
Light Heavyweight Corey Anderson vs. Maurício Rua
Welterweight Demian Maia vs. Matt Brown

The UFC 198 card is absolutely amazing.

looks like Mcgregor and Diaz just retired LOL

I think Diaz was just making fun of McGregor. Looks like McGregor didn't get his way about something and tweeted that. He's dumb if he retires. He apparently followed a bunch of WWE people right after.

Apparently Connor was at the fight that saw a young MMA fighter die a couple days later. Perhaps that is playing on his mind, which is why he very well may have retired. If he has the money, good for him.

I guess it could be that, or maybe he failed a random drug test.

He's either in a contract dispute or he has an issue such as a knee problem... For a guy who prides himself on being a man when handling business you'd think if this were remotely true, he would've gone about it a different way.

Wow.

If McGregor retiring is legit, this really makes him look phony. All that s*** talking (which he did fairly back up) and after he loses, he retires. Dana White is ripping the hair out of his private parts as another cash cow bites the dust.

dana just said that conor refused media obligations and refused to promote the fight so dana kicked him off ufc 200

Nah but for real, with only Dana's words & Conor's cryptic tweet to go on, I would imagine he posted that as some sort of negotiation tactic to try & get him out of having do media obligations.. or as much of them anyway.

It's not going to surprise me if this is somewhat of a PR stunt on his end to get people talking about him & the event even more, so it wouldn't shock me to see him at the media obligations he wouldn't attend & still end up fighting Diaz at 200.

It also wouldn't shock me if he had failed some sort of drug test or actually injured himself in some capacity during camp or just isn't mentally all there especially after that MMA fighter died after his bout with an Irish promotion a few weeks ago he was apparently ring side for it & was quite upset after hearing he'd passed.

Who knows, the next day or 2 is going to be interesting as more information comes out.

Well fu** it, I have decided to retire old. Thanks for the shoes @Reebok

lol

Supposedly, McGregor got in a tiff with White because he was tired of almost always fighting in Las Vegas.

UFC to hold event at MSG on November 12th.

Never thought I'd see the day.
