Ariel can still cover the UFC. He just won't have any passes to events, press conferences, etc. from the UFC until their beef is done. He should be fine. He has enough followers of his show that he'll basically keep doing the same thing he's always done except with being at the events directly.

So basically, Ariel Helwani got banned for life because Zuffa/UFC were salty as f*** at the Lesnar scoop. That's the man's damn job.

With that said, I'm stoked for the return of Lesnar for one fight. That's also great publicity for WWE so you know Vinny Mac is excited.

Banning Helwani for life for covering breaking news is like if the NFL banned ESPN's Adam Schefter for life for doing the same.

You don't see the NFL banning Schefter or MLB banning Ken Rosenthal for life for reporting breaking news. Do both get it wrong sometimes? Yes they do, but it doesn't affect either of them in the long run.

It's pure pettiness on the UFC's part.

So apparently, Ariel Helwani has been banned for life by the UFC.

They wanted the Lesnar return to be a surprise so I can understand UFC being pissed and kicking him out. Banning him for life over it is going overboard.

Happy for Bisping, the guy has worked hard & always just fallen short just before getting a title shot & through an element of luck he was asked to step in on 2 week notice. Not only did he win, did so in pretty convincing manner. I honestly expected Rockhold to dismantle him but it just goes to show if you don't take your opponent seriously enough or give them enough respect, you can get KO'd very quickly. Rockhold should fight Weidman & Bisping should defend against Jacare. Weidman didn't deserve the immediate rematch with Rockhold to begin with so shouldn't be granted a title shot coming off a lose.. particularly one were he was destroyed.

As for Cruz & Faber, I thought it was a boring fight to be honest. Cruz's style kills fights, I find him so boring to watch at times.

I think Rockhold underestimated Bisping but I'm glad he got served some humble pie. He has gotten too arrogant for my liking.

The moment they showed Lesnar's face at the bar I was at every meathead collectively let out a roar. It was funny. For a guy that doesn't like to get hit, he's going to get pummeled by one of the most devastating heavyweight strikers there is.
