Official Wolverine manips thread

I thought the Deadpool manip could use a few minor tweeks.

what would you all think of this in a wolverine movie?:

I don't know about the whole thing, but I could definately see him wearing a shirt like that.

Of course then it begs the question, if you're going to go with a shirt like that, why not just one color.

It's alright. I prefer the suit he is wearing at the mo though. The black X-Force one with the red eyes. That would look bad ass in film form.

And great DP manip Soulinertia  Hopefully we will get to see that in a DP solo. I'm pretty sure we won't see it in this film.

.

X Force costuem all the way. I dk why mroe ppl dont know about it.

Also if he were ever to wear something resembling the brown and tan, i dont see why he wouldnt wear the mask. im not saying that the mask is realistic, im saying they both seem like theyd be in the same slot of believabilty given the colors of the shirt.

That is ****ing bad ass!! Best manip I have seen in a long, long time. And that is a totally unbiased opinion. It looks like the real thing.

My only gripe is that I've always preferred DPs mask with the baggy bit at the back, but that's just personal taste.

Major props

Sweet Deadpool manip, Soulinertia.

Thats probably the best I've seen.

EDIT: Here's another blonde Sabretooth manip.

Hello, I am an X-Men fan, and love Wolverine. I'm looking forward to this new movie. My design class assignment was to make a poster for this movie (teacher is a comic guy, gotta love it). Here is what I did. Thanks to Savage who gave me this pic of Sabretooth. I needed a great pic of him but I couldn't find any from this movie that had a menacing look, almost had to go with Singer's version (which I love). But I saw Savage's avatar and got the pic.

I think I got a good thing going on with making movie posters. I did TONS for Spider-Man 3. In my design class I've done this and SAW V which I think worked out well.

Wow, both of those look really good.

I always liked how Gambit's eyes made him look like kind of a sleazebag and at the same time childlike. There's this deceptive quality about him and I can see why he started out as a villain. Kind of wishing he stayed that way now.

messin around, did this today. Gonna probably start over and make it a bit better.

No, not really. Deadpool and Wolverine have very different masks, very different personalities, and very different reasons as to why they wear them. Just because one mask doesn't particularly work well doesn't mean they all don't.

batman seems to be able to pull it off well. so why not wolverine. if the mask and movie were right, it could work.

And by your way of thinking neither would deadpool or any other masked hero....Sad really

Not really, since i said only movie wolverine.

Spider-Man looks good in his mask, so does Bats (well its a cowl, but you get the idea).

Masks can look good, i think Deadpool would look fine with it, he would make it work with his style and humor, but Wolverine, just wolverine...doesn't need it. Just doesn't translate well on to screen. Its just like, if they tried to fit Cyc with the full headgear he has in the comics, it would be a bit off.

If anything I think Wolvie should at some point wear his tactical suit like he would when he was doing missions in Europe with Maverick. That would be cool... maybe have a full mask covering his face kinda like Solid Snake's sneaking suit.

Costumes could work if they had grounded the character in a comic-book world, like Watchmen did. Xmen, from the get-go, went the quasi-realistic route and did away with costumes in lieu of uniforms, but in such a way that it said "spandex would look stupid" and so forth. Personally, I would like to see how the movies had turned out if they had really stayed true to the comics. I have a vision for what an X-men reboot would look like, but it's pretty ambitious.

Because Batmans suit is basically the summarization of his powers. Batman is just a normal bloke, his "superpowers" are his wealth, intelligence and technology. Batman without a suit is just your standard bloke.

Wolverine without a suit changes absolutely nothing. He still has his powers and all that.
