2) Will Gambit's (stupid, awful, out-of-character) reasons for joining Apocalypse ever be revisited? He did seem to be getting a certain amount of info on the future from Mystique during "Messiah CompleX"…

I think his reasons – however misguided – were as stated, Fi. There may be things we don't know, but I don't have any major revelations in store in that respect.

Of course Carey isn't going to touch this, it is beyond anyone's ability to really repair what was one of Marvel's lamest moves ever. Joe Q must have foolishly underestimated the guy's fanbase and simply offered Gambit up as a trvial sacrifice. Now they are trying to scramble to fix this. Please....

The problem with writers' writing is that every little mistake they make for each character, it becomes part of the character's history/background, because these characters have no other choices, and can't be easily forgotten.

It's very obvious Carey doesn't have an answer for Gambit volunteering to join Apocalypse, Gambit doesn't like the likes of Sinister and Apocalypse, there's no reason for him to just up and side with one of them.

Me likey! The artwork looks much better this time round. Rogue's obviously going to survive #230 though. Carey's not going to kill off his favourite character!

The tea mof Psylocke, Nightcrawler, Rogue, and Colossus is def new. I'm not falling outta my chair with excitement but it will be interesting to see.

Um...are the X-men going to just say"Oh-you're Maggot! Long time no see, now take your slug back, it's taking up almost half of the space in our garden, we only keep it because we don't have a dog, it slimes, you know? Now with that slug being taken off our hands, you can vanish from our sight."

Regardless of whether I like Maggot or not, he was part of the old team's history, surely should be treated better than that, right?

He was big in his first appearance. However, he was retconned into a teen by the time he left the X-men as they were going to put him in Generation X

Maggot was introduced as a badass and made for a really new and interesting kind of X-Man...then new writers came on and they shoveled him off to GenX and the writer there didn't want him either so he only lasted an issue there...then..he reappeared only to die in Weapon X...his slugs were never really shown to slime..and when they ate, he grew stronger and invulnerable and blue. He was South African too. awesome character, awesome backstory, he does need more respect than 'random mutant zombie that Cyclops blasts"

I LOVED his origin issue. That was one of my favorite issues from Kelly's run. Too bad they never had him reunite with Magneto. I always hated that they got rid of him jsut before Mags came back

man i really dont like his covers. he does Iron Man beautifully but it just looks off when he does organic people. but its more the coloring than the actually forms.

I think it's the coloring's doing, makes everyone looks metalic.

Even though only Colossus and Logan's claws should look metalic.

That was one of myfavorites too. That made Maggot one of my faves so well, of course they killed him off. I am the kiss of death.

I cant believe we are still going through Rogue's Bizarre Adventure. WTF is up with Marvel's editorial and continuity? We are what like 2 months into Necrosha and the Legacy issues STILL havent started and wont till next month. Wouldnt it have made sense to I dont know, have started it after the one shot like the other titles did?
