Am I the only one bugged about how Rogue looks like she's constantly in danger of following out of her top?

Zip it, girl! Seriously . . . .
I prefer her current costume to be zipped up. Some artists however prefer to have her practically flashing her boobs

“FABLES OF THE RECONSTRUCTION” PART 1 OF 2
After suffering heavy damage during Bastion’s attack on mutantkind, the city of San Francisco is rebuilding. Hoping to aid in the reconstruction effort, Cyclops tasks a team of X-Men — including the newly-arrived mutant messiah, Hope — to lend a hand. But when something goes terribly wrong, will the X-Men lose everything they fought for?

yes I love this book when it ditches the X brats and focuses on the veteran Xmen. Carey is very capable of writing a team title and Im glad this arc looks to be showcasing that strength. Im upset though that he has yet to use Iceman in Legacy. Considering he does seem to like him, its odd he has not made it onto any of his rotating lineups

Carey even set up that whole "I'll stalk you til you love me" plot thread between Mystique and Iceman, but he's done nothing with it.

yeah and its not like anyone else is doing anything with him. I mean I liek the team on teh cover but Hope, Cyclops, Colossus and Psylocke all have significant roles in the other titles. I wish Bobby got some love

I love the cover, gonna PhotoImpact it to leave me all of Scott~

“COLLISION” PART TWO

When a pack of Sentinels chases a girl through the streets of Mumbai, the X-Men assume she’s a newly-manifested mutant and rush to her aid. But could it be that she’s something else entirely? One thing’s for sure: she has ties to the X-Men that could spell bad news for Rogue and Magneto…

She has unstable phasing powers that causes things to deteriorate. If she tries to phase through a wall, the wall starts to crumble or melt away as she passes through it. So when she jumped through the sentinel's head, she melted a big ass hole in it.

Gotta handed it to the Z List Rookie X-Man. She just shot up on my list of characters to watch.

It's kinda sad when the newbies are more interesting than some of the old guys. :p

A lot of the older characters had their best stories told decades ago, and writers have a hard time telling stories with them. New characters with different powers and mostly blank personalities leave a lot of creative room for writers. That's why there are so many New X-Men running around, and why Carey keeps using them.

Like that the kids did things sick of the adults doing everything all the time when they die there is no hope lol cause all the kids can't do anything lol.

Good thing the adults will never die then. There's a reason the adults do everything. Despite not being blank slates like the kids, they are the ones that sell the books.

IA. I thought I was the only one that didnt care for the X-kids. Theres a handful that I like, but overall, Im not a fan of the New Xmen. It sucks that the majority of the ones I do like are the ones that have been gutted and pushed aside with the least interesting ones (at least IMO), pushed forward.

I like the X-Kids, actually. I was just saying what's the truth. Most people who read, read for the characters that have been longer for them.

Kyle and Yost killed most of my favorites though.

I've been seeing a backlash against the X-students appearing in the core X-Men titles, and I think the only real solution is to give them their own book again. Only this time, in order for it to sell well, they should be mentored by popular X-Men instead of Mirage & Sunspot. I think readers would be all over a comic starring characters like Iceman, Colossus, or Magneto with half a dozen kids.

Isn't that kinda Legacy right now anyways? Rogue's got all the young X-Men hanging around her.

Oh, wait. I get what you mean, actual people whose teaching won't mentally **** them up worse than they already are. Gotcha.

X-Men Legacy is (wait for it...) The Rogue Show Starring Rogue. The other X-Men are only featured players, and those featured players switch randomly between students and veterans. The Necrosha tie-in featured Magneto, Psylocke, Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Husk. This next issue has who? Magneto, Loa, and Anole?

I mean an actual X-Men title specifically for the students, co-starring 2 or 3 of the veteran X-Men. Like what Young X-Men did, only with more popular characters than Mirage & Sunspot. Or what Avengers Academy is doing, only with veterans more popular than Tigra and Justice.

yeah I thought you were talking about more consistency. The supporiting cast for Legacy changes with each arc so theres not much room for extended plots or major development with these kids. I think the best for that will be in Generation Hope which looks to also have Rogue there as a mentor but will have an actual regular cast
