Sam Witwer is still my top pick.

But there is no universe where Witwer can get a marvel role. I mean, he wasnt good enough to carry even a full season of Supergirl. I liked him but he never really pushs his career forward in my attention.

I do have a feeling, that the Fantastic 4 won‘t be 4 white people.
Though I‘d prefer someone in the X-Men being black instead of like they were in the comics, like Prof. X, Cyclops,...

I‚m ok with a black Reed Richards: casting ideas are Donald Glover, John David Washington, Lakeith Stanfield as rumored.

But I want Susan blonde - probably the last blonde longhaired superhero (CM received her Karen-haircut in Endgame)

:D

Yeah, I know, I know...its just WGTC

Btw Rami Malek as Namor

People keep casting Zac Efron as Johnny Storm, but maybe he's more suited to Ben Grimm?

Zac Efron would have crushed it as Johnny if the movie was made 10 years earlier. He'll be 35 at the earliest, and IMO that's too old for Johnny to be in his first movie.

He's getting passed around as Wolverine over on the X-Men cast threads and...honestly that one's growing on me.

People still think Zac Efron is the same age he was in High School Musical.

I wouldn’t want Zac Efron even if he was age-appropriate enough to play the role.

Why not? He can do comedy, has done drama, can pass for an ex-football player, is Jewish, has blue eyes...
He's grown out of that High School Musical era and ticks a lot of the boxes on paper. It could be one of those left-field castings that pays off in the long-run, like Heath Ledger as Joker.

I think It's better than the fancasts of him as Johnny at least.

Ever since Zac Efron’s new facial hair went viral he’s suggested for every role haha.

not complaining, just wish I got so many job offers when I whip my shirt off

I meant him as Johnny Storm. I should’ve specified in my initial post.

I watched one episode of his netflix documentary and he looks like a chubby, homeless guy in his 40s here. I would love to see him as Johnny but his days for that are definetly over..

He was in an episode of CSI Miami when he was young. I saw it on TV the other day. It must've been even before High School Musical.

They haven't even developed Fantastic Four 1 so having #2 planned out seems unlikely.

But the FF already know how to defeat the Inhumans from watching the TV show. Reed can stretch and quickly cut off all of Medusa's hair in the first 15 minutes. Ben can throw a rock at Karnak's head, giving him a head injury for the rest of the film. Sue can sneak up and stick a gag over Blackbolt's mouth. Johnny can put Lockjaw to sleep.

I would love to see the Inhumans show up and the F4 make the most sense. I think there's a good chance they do sooner than later though, especially with the plans for Ms. Marvel

It makes so much sense for FF. It would introduce the Inhumans properly (so we can put that awful show behind us, it would emphasize the FF as explorers/adventurers rather than traditional superheroes. It would provide the possibility for epic battles, and it's right out of the comics.

I really hope they do it.

The way Marvel is so intricate and plans in advance, it’s not farfetched to think they atleast have a whole skeleton for MCU Fantastic Four by now.

BTW, I’ve been watching a lot of X-Files lately, David Duchovny would’ve been an excellent Reed. Hell he still could be.

As someone who considers X-Files to be my all-time favorite show...I would love to see David and Gillian as Reed and Sue....will never happen...but still....

Also when does anyone think Kevin will FINALLY give us some insight into the F4/Doom???

I think we'll get some hints in the upcoming films/series. With Black Widow and Falcon/Winter Soldier both having spy/military/political elements, it would make sense to at least start to introduce the idea of Latveria/Doom.

But with everything on hold, it may be a while before we get out of this frustrating suspended animation.

At the height of the X-Files popularity, Duchovny was my pick for Bruce Banner.
