Just seeing the logo had literally screaming!

I did an impromptu Sam Kinson impression.

Oh! Oh! Ohhhhhh!
Haha, the logo is the ultimate confirmation of Marvel Studios F4 we've all been waiting for for so long.

I don’t think the supporting cast and such will be an issue in FF. Older characters here. Both Watts films also did great jobs developing villains. I think he can do this
Good point. Great job on the villain front, and I pray that carries over to Doom finally.

He's a very generic, run-of-the-mill filmmaker. His Spider-Man is not compelling or interesting and the supporting cast are all paper-thin characters.

Though maybe he has a better understanding of F4 than he does Spidey and he'll have a better script to work with.

There must have been a ton better choices out there, though.

Despite Watt's not being my first pick either I'm just glad we got something official on this movie's development, because I honestly wasn't expecting it this soon.

This is like the next best thing to a MCU X-Men movie getting a director IMO and the only thing that would have made it better was some official casting, but I'm very satisfied with what we got.

We’ve speculated that Johnny could show up as a classmate of Peters. I wonder if this means that’s a done-deal for Spidey 3.

MCU X-Men would be my ultimate announcement but this was no.2. Can't wait to hear who they pick for the roles.

Spidey 3 sounds like one of the most stacked films if all the rumours end up being true.

This would be a sweet post-credit scene, but yeah, Spidey 3 sounds like it has enough going on.

Hyped for this and I love Watts, he's a good director and he's villains have always been great. Everything you guys hate about his Spiderman movies will not be an issue here. I don't think marvel will shy away from using popular f4 supporting characters. They did it in spiderman because we've had two reboots and they didn't want to reuse some characters.

At least the choice in Watts means they want the FF to be big. He's bland but he's was also their choice for the company's biggest hero. Here's hoping that it's a great film.

I’m really whatever about the MCU Spidey movies. The bright spot has been their villains (Vulture & Mysterio), so I’m sure we will get a great Doom

Just hope he and the rest of the Fantastic 4 are in no way related to Stark in some way :funny:

Stark probably inspired Reed to become a scientist.

I think an interesting thing about the Watts pick is he took a Spider-Man character who was becoming stale after many previous movies and reinvigorated the character.

While FF is very different than Spider-Man, I suspect some of Marvel’s interest in him is their faith that he won’t be bogged down by previous FF iterations and he’ll find ways to make them feel fresh again.

Just, ya' know, don't make Doom the first villain again. PLEASE.

I could see Watts doing good work with Mole Man.
