How likely is it for the FF to appear in the MCU before their own movie? I’d say the odds are quite high.

I am not sure we will see all 4 in the same project, but in general? Sure. Maybe Reed shows up in Ant-Man 3 and Ben is in She-Hulk or whatever

I’d say close to 100%, and that’s pretty exciting. We may still have several years to wait for FF, but now that it’s officially coming, we could start seeing characters showing up soon.

And I’m thinking Black Widow or Falcon and Winter Soldier could be good opportunities to start introducing Doom or at least Latveria.

There doesn't seem to be an overarching plot or villain that ties everything together so far, I'm guessing they are saving the big threat for later on... maybe Galactus or Dr Doom could fit?
I'm actually glad they're treating everything as separate units until the next big Avengers team up.

I wonder if even Galactus disappeared when Thanos first clicked his fingers.

I always thought young Michael Douglas/the Ant-Man films could be a good entry point for Fantastic Four.
For some reason I keep thinking they're doing Fantastic Four set in the 60's. There's been no indication of it, but I'm still pretty excited by the idea of period pieces in the MCU.

That’s an idea. Thanos snaps his fingers, Galactus dies and then when he comes back, his hunger is so intense he’s ravaging worlds at rapid fire and Earth is the only thing to truly satisfy him.

It shows that Thanos actions still have ramifications and it just pissed off the wrong being.

Don't give Doom traits of Moleman and then call him Doom, or change any of the other characters and give them new names like Watts has done with the MCU Spider-Man series. We don't need FF equivalents of Ned Leeds or Flash Thompson or Betty Brant.
He's done a great job with villains, Watts has, that's the only thing I can say about the Fantastic Four villains and his Spider-Man.

I think if this was gonna be a period piece, then they would have hired Peyton Reed cause that was his idea. It being Watts says to me it's modern day

The Fantastic 4 mean everything to me... they are my favorite team, my favorite comic...I want this done right on all fronts...I trust Kevin and his trust in Jon Watts...while I didn't think of him as a choice, I can only hope that he presented a vision of the First Family that is fantastic..

As for casting, I am happy with the fan casting of John and Emily as Richards and Sue...totally ok with Dacre Montgomey or similar pretty boy to be Torch...i want an,actor to be Ben that has strength, heart, and,his Jewish heritage explored.

Finally regardless of,his rather forgettable role in Dr.,Strange, Mads Mikkelsen MUST be Doom...as Robert Downey Jr and Chadwick Boseman are to Stark and T'Challa, that is how I see Mads with Victor Von Doom...he was born to,play Latveria's favorite monarch

I really like Claes Bang as Doom, but he might be too old at this stage.

Mads as Doom has been mine and a lot of other peoples dream casting for doom. I know he was in Dr. Strange, but I’m hoping theres a way they can make an exception like they have for slightly minor characters with reappearing actors. He’s too good to pass up.

Nikolaj is still my dream Doom, though I agree that at this point, he and most of our popular choices are out of the running. I doubt they pick someone over 50. Out of the people I've seen mentiones here, Mattias Schoenaerts is most likely to actually happen, IMO.

If he was interested do what it takes to land him. Doom could be one of the most important characters of the next decade or so after he’s introduced.

Moving forward, Doom isn’t necessarily a role that requires youth or a crazy good physique. You can get a guy in his 50’s and once they put him behind the mask, it’s all eyes and voice. A lot of 50 somethings can also pass for 40s. But I wouldn’t blame them for going a little younger. I’d also want a Reed who’s at least mid 30s, he shouldn’t be a young guy when we first meet him.

It's a shame they wasted him in Dr. Strange, because he would have been perfect for Doom.

I had actually forgot he appeared in Strange. :D :csad:

I hope so—the more they keep reiterating that it’s Marvel’s first family though makes me nervous that it will be a period piece.

When I saw Quantumania, admittedly my first thought was Fantastic Four.

Excited for the little bit of news though; and I enjoy the MCU Spider-Man movies so Watts announcement was a positive in my book.

For Doom, I recently pitched Luca Marinelli.

I’d love for Marvel Studios to stumble on another Tom Hiddleston for their Doom casting
