This year in particular will be special for the First Family since it will mark their 60th anniversary. What do you guys want or expect Marvel will do for that? I have a feeling we’ll get an animated show or maybe even some videogame content.

We’ll definitely get more news on the MCU Fantastic Four. We’ll definitely get some screenwriters announced as well as an exact release date. Heck, we might even get a FF forum this year! The sky’s the limit. I feel so excited to be an FF fan! We’ve come a long way since the dark days of Fan4stic where the future remained so uncertain! Believe me when I tell you this will be a fantastic year to be an F4 fan(pun intended).

I would be with happy with either/both an animated show or game content.

I can't wait for the ball to start rolling on signs of progress with the film. Not sure what to expect this year on that front. It seems like F4 is near the back of the queue in terms of what's been announced to date.

These are the most exciting times to date for F4 media now with the rights back with Marvel. The keep faith thread was a great experience on the Hype and hopefully it will culminate in us all getting the F4 we want when it's finally launched.

Whew, I don't even remember the Last time I posted here! But I thought it was worth to talk about Watts directing F4. I'm totally in!

I think Watts did a commendable job on his Spider-Man's movies considering he had to deal with the Sony/Marvel Studios two-headed monster. He gave new life to cinematic Spidey and also did a good job on villains, something F4 definately needs. I look forward to see what he can do working directly with Feige, I Imagine that
a) his work on Spider-Man 3 is pretty good, as insane as that movie is rumoured to be It can't be an easy job;
b) his Fantastic Four pitch must have impressed Feige, who knows how important the IP Is and how the good name of the Four has been tarnished over the years;

Let me Just tell you guys how freaking hyped I am this is finally happening, can't wait to hear casting and production news in the future!

I suspect FF will be a more free experience for Watts and I HOPE that makes for a better end product.

Right now Watts is like Jenkins for me.

I adored their first CBMs in an inverse reaction to how dull and uninteresting I find their second CBM.


WIith Watts though, he was handed the one MCU property where pleasing more than Feige comes into the mix with Sony mandates and the like. So... I will mulligan FFH.

Yeah. I think he brings a really good balance of action and humor. I would have liked to see what Taika would have done with this project, but had my concerns about him going over the top on the humor side.

Watts nailed the “teen comedy” elements in Spidey, but I hope and assume he’s not a one-trick pony. I think he gave Marvel and Sony the films they wanted for Spidey and I’m hoping if Feige can give him a clear idea if what he wants from FF, he’ll nail that as well.

Seeing my first adult celebrity crush in the for me un-sexy role in the MCU would be a pill for me. But the photoshop here looks wonderful!

I would love to see Mr. Waititi make an FF movie as wonderful as Ragnarok. But I've enjoyed both of Watts MCU Spidey flicks and I'm confident he will rise up to the challenge.

He’s one of my favourite actors and I would take him as Reed or Marc Spector. I don’t think, that Reed will be white, but if he is, JGL would be awesome. And then Seth Rogen as Ben Grimm would make awesome chemistry between them

Mostly a good cast. Andrew as Reed is growing on me.
Great work on his costume. That is the look they should go for, with the 4 logo.

Loved MEW from the first time I saw her. I wonder how she'd do as Sue......she's a pretty strong character in general; maybe a little too strong? But, as they say, they aren't called actors for nothing.

Last month, a(nother) reboot movie for Marvel’s First Family was finally officially announced, with Spider-Man director Jon Watts set to helm, but we still have many questions about how the heroes will be folded into the franchise. For one, given how Marvel usually does things, it’s unlikely their own film will be where they’re introduced. And, according to the latest word on the topic, one of the foursome could debut before the rest.

Beyond the Trailer’s Grace Randolph has shared what she’s heard about the Four’s arrival in the McU on social media. “#Marvel is looking for #FantasticFour actors right now & will likely go w/ smaller, highly regarded actors rather than a big name,” the scooper said. As for when they could first appear, she added: “Also theories that they’ll be introduced in #AntMan3 are correct.

I literally just read this and was going to check here to see if she was credible.

I certainly won’t be surprised if they do something like this. I just don’t know if it’s real or just speculation.

Yeah I don't trust anything Grace says. Or anything from WGTC. Although it would stand to reason we could get a cameo or post credit stinger in one of these movies but that's more common sense guessing than anything.
