Ha, that would be clever and interesting. Geez imagine loosing the FF. It would be like loosing bill gates, like what would Microsoft even do?

The S.W.O.R.D astronaut thing created the perfect set-up for the FF. Their program is pretty much cancelled with most astronauts having quit and that provides perfect motivation for Reed to plan an unauthorized mission.
The lack of other astronauts also gives a reason why he would desperately bring on Sue and Johnny.

I'd imagine maybe the 4 could get dusted, while their ship continues to move through space and near a cosmic storm. They come back, and are unable to turn around before being bombarded by cosmic rays. Or maybe Reed and Ben are on a mission and get dusted. Sue and Johnny are sent to go Retrieve them and they're all caught in the cosmic storm.

Maybe the four will go into space, get dusted just as the cosmic rays are about to hit, then it misses them. Then they're brought back after the 2nd snap and return to earth as normal without realising anything has happened in 5 years.

And in another universe Bruce Banner gets dusted just as the gamma bomb is about to go off so it completely misses him. Then he's brought back and is standing all alone in the middle of the desert wondering where everyone has gone.

And in yet another universe nerdy student Peter Parker gets dusted just as the spider is about to bite him. When he returns he sees the remains of the dead spider and faints. He runs back home to find Uncle Ben has died in the last 5 years.

I think the FF will definitely be tied to SWORD in some way.

The mentions of cosmic radiation in WandaVision are also interesting.

On S2 of Peaky Blinders. Anytime I see Thomas Shelby speak Romani or discuss his Gypsy heritage, I just think Doom.

He'd be excellent w/ a WandaVision-quality Disney+ series too.

They did a spiderman story the same way recently, and each issue moves decades. Telling the story of Spider-Man through the decades. Also called life story.
