Screen Name: Sentry2005

Character you would like to play and a brief description of his/her powers and Bio: Super Boy (Conner Kent) - a clone created from the genetic make up of both Superman and his arch-nemesis Lex Luthor, Conner Kent is the Boy of Steel. His powers were originally telekenetically based, mimicking many of Supermans powers. However recently his Kryptonian cells have become energized, allowing for the emergence of his new powers.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. He is my favourate of the Superman family.

2. I find him infinitly mroe interesting than Superman or Super Girl

3. I think it would be fun to play as someone who is verging on both evil and good natures.

What can you bring to this game? Well, from my posts in the DC:RPG and Marvel: RPG, i convincingly play the characters i choose, and i like to develop them in a new direction. Also i'm uber fun!!



How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: As many as i can really.

Cool. And, you could fit his early arival into the new continuity by saying that Luthor used technology he learned from the high evolutionary to perfect the cloning process faster. Although you'll haver to talk that out with Master Bruce.

Excellent job, Sparta. I do think it's odd that they got from space to Earth so quickly. Maybe they were aided when they were all screaming, thinking they were going to die, by a Boom Tube?

As to Superboy, how will he fit in? What is Superman's origin in this universe? Was he ever Superboy? Would Fisk let Luthor make a clone of a being he'd just encountered?

ah right, so we follow our own continuity in this rpg? kool... well we could scrap the clone thing, and go with he's supermans son from the future perhaps... his powers would be identical as conner would still be half human. which ever, i don't mind. what ever suits everyone else. just let me know so i can start posting!

To be honest, I'd say wait until the Superman/Luthor rivalry thing is a bit more established, probably post Apokolips Invasion.

You could also play Sentry, you know...

Also, as to that whole "torn between good and bad halves", that whole arc was terrible. I've been reading Superboy since the Reign of the Supermen, and he's never been torn between good and evil. He is, at his essence, good, the problem being he's like every other kid raised in the '80s and '90s. He's got a negative attention span, and he's a teenager. The best stories are when Connor surmounts them and lives up to his legacy. DC's basically said that when Clark hangs up the cape, it'll be Connor that picks it up, which I think is cool and adds a generational element to Superman in much the same way Batman has.

true, but i find it interesting that he believes that its his genetic heritage that makes him who he is, rather than his own free will. I can see Conner get over this in I.C. and maybe being the character death that we know is coming.... much like supergirl in the crisis on infinite worlds

and i may re-apply as someone else.... just got to think about it for a while then... but as soon as its possible, i'll be back with my conner application lol

Character you would like to play and a brief description of his/her powers and Bio: (new bio for this continuity) IRON MAN - Tony Stark was a great inventor, and designed weapons and cutting edge technology that amde him a billionaire by the time he was in his mid twenties. High Father, seeking agents to fight Darkseid from across the universe, sent him (anonamously) a mother box. Stark combined this technology with a prototype suit he was designing, and thus the Iron Man armour was created. Stark donned the armour, but the chest plate became fused to him, regulating his heart. Now, forever sealed to the armour, Stark soars over New York, guarding the city from anyone who threatens it.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. One of my favourate Marvel characters.

2. I want to explore him in this world

3. It's Iron Man.... come oooooooooon!!

What can you bring to this game?
I can roleplay well, and will hopefully capture the esence of the character well.... plus i'm pretty
