Thanks. I was just thinking what the reaction of most people would be. Even Spider-man, whop realizes that people with super powers exist, would be causious, seeing as how hearing about a flying man in blue long johns and a red cape just sounds like something out of a cartoon.

I believe I invited him in my post. I'd forgotten about Tony Stark, so I made sure to invite him. So, at this point, I'd like to run by you all the story for the party i have in mind. In attendance will be:

Lex Luthor
Wilson Fisk
Tony Stark
Bruce Wayne
Clark Kent & Lois Lane (covering the story, maybe with Jimmy Olsen?)
Peter Parker (also covering the story)

As well as you know, Bill Gates and other real life business moguls and celebrities.

At some point in the party, everyone overhears about a madman who's threatening to blow up the Star City bank, killing everyone inside, if he doesn't get what he wants (I'm thinking some terrorists freed or something like that). All the heroes find reasons to excuse themselves, and they all run into each other outside the bank, making for some memorable dialogue (I'm looking forward to the repartee between Spidey and Green Arrow, myself), before they go in and attempt to defuse the situation. That's when they realize that the guy with the bomb is a front while an armed group of about forty terrorists rob Star City blind. We all do our superheroic thing, saving the day and all that, and get to know each other briefly before heading back to the party.

How does that sound?

tony got a mother box because it was sent to earth by High Father in preperation for Darkseids invasion... to give earth a fighting cance. Tony's satelites were the first to pick up the incoming object on radar, and then Stark Enterprises retrieved the device. Now tony's fused it with the iron man armour, it's given him a big data burst of what darkeid plans... basically shots of Humans dying every where, creation being unravled etc.. like a big warning... so now he wants to be a hero. thats basically where i'm going with tony... and i'll be at the bash ollie... just need to get my other suit out lol
