Character you would like to play: The Joker
Powers: None.
Brief biography of the character's history: Virtually nothing is known of the Joker's origins. Seemingly rising out of nowhere, the maniacal Clown Prince of Crime quickly made his presence known across Gotham. His sadistic, murderous ways have made him a very real threat to the citizens and the GCPD, as well as making him one of Batman's top priorities. Wildly unpredictable, the Joker's next move is yet to be seen, but one thing's for sure: if the Joker shows up on your doorstep, trouble is soon to follow.
List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: Superficially, the Joker is an excuse to be blatantly over-the-top. The insanity of his grandiose schemes is matched only by their heinousness. More importantly, however, the Joker is a complex psychological challenge for any writer. His philosophy on life, his relationship with Batman, almost everything about him makes him the kind of character you can
really sink your teeth into.
What can you bring to this game?: Reliability, madness, dedication, chaos.
Color and font you plan on using for your character's speech: Bold Purple Century Gothic
How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: If I'm working with someone else, I'll post as often as I need to. If I'm working alone, I'll post every couple of days to keep the arc rolling.

"Do you know how lonely it is being the only sane person on the planet?"
The Joker spins on his heels, facing his captive. The young man is stripped to his undergarments and tied to a chair in the middle of the room. Fearful tears roll down his cheeks, over the cellophane covering his mouth. He shudders uncontrollably as the Clown Prince of Crime approaches.
With a faint smile, the Joker says,
"Of course you don't. How could you?" With a gloved hand, the murderous sociopath grabs his captive by the hair. He yanks his head back and examines his terrified expression.
"Well, allow me to tell you, then. It's one of the most depressing feelings in the world. It makes me just want to..."
Without warning, the Joker breaks out into an exuberant fit of laughter.
"Oh, who am I kidding? Life's just too fun to spend it moping around! You see that now, don't you?"
The captive whimpers.
The Clown Prince of Crime shakes his head.
"Tsk, tsk. I'm just not getting through to you, it seems. I must be losing my touch." Then, smiling devilishly, the Joker adds,
"Speaking of which, you're down to your thumb, huh?"
The man looks down at the chair's armrest, where his hand is tied down. All the fingers except the thumb have been chopped off. Blood runs down the armrest and pools on the floor.
The Joker pulls out a switchblade.
"I sure hope you're a lefty! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
