In Tas and other versions it's cause he is indestructible from my memory
So sending him bac where he came from in a nap wrks

So I was watching xmen evolution apocalypse episodes And was wonderiing how the xmen will, defeat apocalypse in the movie I really like how, they do,it,in the episode where they enclose him in his tomb what do us guys think they should do I would hate for them to,kill him off

I kind of hope they do take origin cues from Evolution. As for how taking his down, I feel it's going to be some Deus Ex Machina type situation to take him down

I always liked the feeling in the 90s cartoon that Apocalypse was never really defeated. Just temporarily dealt with.

Since there is no time travel in this movie he is probably getting offed, sorry mein freund.

Unless they put him back to sleep, but why would they do that if he's destroying most of the world in this movie? Lol.

Because that has stopped him in the comics...

I just want to see Isaac to attempt one of those grandiose lines he had in the Animated Series.

Like I've said and like somebody posted in another thread, in one comic, Magneto rips him apart. That's what they're going to do, I'm calling it.

I like the Magneto thing but kinda want the X-Men to be the ones who finish him. I guess since Magneto killed shaw in FC.

it was AoA Omega, and it was badass:

But I agree with xrs
it would be nice to see the X-men as a team defeat the bad guy for once

Magneto killing him could be badass but would seem very repetitive.

I don't think they will get rid of Apocalypse after this movie. The just got Oscar Isaac and his stardom is going to go up after Star Wars. Well I would like Apocalypse to be a recurring villain for a while.

I think it helps that Isaac is a fan of the character. Still, Apocalypse is the kind of character that should be used sparingly.

I would really prefer for the X-men to take down Apocalypse but I just don't know how they'd be able to do it but I could see Eric as the one who delivers the final blow as the rest attack Apocalypse

Let me elaborate, the X-Men manage to weaken Apocalypse enough to let Xavier hold him and Magneto finish him.

I think it would be an interesting way to come full circle to have Charles and Erik finish off the main villain again, but without them fighting each other like when Erik killed Shaw. It'd be comic accurate and a rather fitting way to end this trilogy.

Plus the way Erik killed Shaw was badass. Probably one of the best ways a villain has been defeated in a CBM. The climax of FC was intense. Having a scene like that again would be pretty nice (if it can be done well)

Apocalypse shouldn't be killed off just after one movie.

I think it would be cool to see a good team action set piece that involves the whole team taking out Apocalypse together. Would be nice to see an individual who lives by 'survival of the fittest' taken down by a diverse group coming together to defeat him.

I kinda want Jean to do it. I want it to show her power which gives Xavier a "this person in front of me is going to become super powerful one day and that is a bit concerning" moment to give us a glimpse at Phoenix again and build hype for more xmen films

Fully agree with this!! I want more apocalypse for future films (even in my dream mot one involving the OT)

This episode shows how they could beat Apoc, and it makes the most sense IMO. Closing a tomb while he is asleep seems pretty thoughtless to me in comparison. I just don't see it being that easy or the movie being good if its that easy.

I think its pretty unrealistic to think he won't be killed off because how they defeat him will determine how powerful the climax is and just putting him out with an obvious sign they are saving him for another Film certainly isnt that
