http://www.denofgeek.us/movies/ex-m...-vikander-talk-ex-machina-ai-x-men-apocalypseYou talk about his God Complex and his need to create. Do you see any similarities between that and the character of Apocalypse, such as creating Archangel?
OI: Ah, that’s interesting [Smiles]. This is a trap, right? [Laughs] Sure. The thing is with Nathan is he doesn’t have a God Complex. All of the characters to a certain extent are playing roles in order for the experiment to go a certain way…in order for his plan to work. So, he needs to sell to Caleb that she is someone, it is someone, that needs to be saved from this horrible God Complex, drunk, violent, un-empathetic person, because he needs to make Caleb think, this very smart kid [that] he wants to marry her or something. [Laughs]
AV: So, in one way, it’s one of those brilliant films or scripts where going back and watching it the second time, or reading it a second time, it’s a very, very different story. He says a lot of quite brilliant things, and I definitely think he’s playing the part.
OI: And the difference with Apocalypse is Apocalypse is God. [Laughs]
http://www.slashfilm.com/oscar-isaac-ex-machina-interview/2/Now, as excited I am for Star Wars, it’s so cool that you’re in X-Men as well. What was your favorite X-Men movie going into this? I know you’re a fan of the comics.
Yeah, I know, I did, I like the film franchise a lot. I thought it was so, it was a very cool thing to cast Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart. So when that first happened, that was exciting. ‘Cause when I was a kid, me and my friend would cast them all the time. We had our own like crazy casts. So that was really fun. You know, X2 I thought was pretty brilliantly done. And I really like the last one too was fantastic. I–
So all the ones by the director that you’re working with!
Well no, and the other one, the–
I’m just kidding.
I mean, the last one.
First Class is good yeah.
Yeah, First Class. The reboot with Fassbender and McAvoy, all them, yeah, they were great too.
http://www.complex.com/pop-culture/...+04+2015&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=socialWhat about X-Men Apocalypse?
With Apocalypse, I’m super excited ’cause I’m trying to get back to the initial expression of that character. Louise Simonson, the lady who created Apocalypse, was tasked with making a brand new, big supervillain. The fact that she chose the embodiment of the biblical apocalypse, with the four horsemen, that was fascinating to me. For me, when I was a kid, the second coming, the apocalypse, the beast with seven heads, and all this crazy **** that the Bible talks about in Revelation was the scariest thing you could think of. So, it’s getting back to the source of what that is, the actual word “apocalypse,” which is Greek and means to lift back the curtain, to reveal. Although for us it’s synonymous with destruction. Maybe it’s a bit of both.
I thought I posted that, but it looks like I didn't. Oops!

Hearing the plot to Apocalypse and it sounds fine. Singer can do that **** well.
Oh no, someone on twitter said something about a movie that hasn't even begun principle photography yet and I don't like it.![]()

Yes that too, almost every superhero film has it. Tbh most cbm plots with big baddies mostly have basic plots. To be fair it's only the plot or synopsis he probably doesn't mean he read the script, the plot could be described easy as apocalypse tries to destroy the world...
So fine is bad? Someone who read the early script for dofp said the same thing.
