Our "Space Princess": David Corenswet IS Clark Kent/Superman!

Okay but if Martian Manhunter shows up, I expect him to be referred to as A Princess of Mars.
Only if he's hot. So you ****ers know!

Realization: Manhunter is from mars. Name is basically John. John of Mars. :fancy: a reference to John Carter? (time to google stuff)

Didn't know he was an antagonist in Twisters, how fun. Sounds like the Cary Elwes role.

That’s cool that David is playing an antagonist in Twisters. It will be a good chance for him to show his range hopefully.

Saw Twisters last night. David had a more significant role than what the trailers show, but I don't think they cooked it enough. David did what he could, but his role could've been written better. He's the main antagonist, but they didn't flesh him out enough to feel like a real threat so he just felt more like a nuisance to the protagonists than anything. It's like they couldn't decide if they wanted him to be a minor character or a main character. It was weird. The movie overall was pretty good though. Glen Powell is definitely a movie star. Hope Gunn can land him a role in the DCU!

I thought Glen Powell would make for a good Booster Gold (he has the look and plays a good *****e), but as a movie star he's probably becoming too big for that character at this point.

I’m still on the Powell for Hal train, though I’m guessing they’ll go for an older actor there. And that’s fine too. But I do hope Powell shows up somewhere in the DCU eventually even if he says he’s not interested in superhero roles or whatever.

I think we have come along way since being a big name meant much for the superhero role you pick. If the director has a solid vision and the writing is good then I would say an actor would be attracted to Also I don't think Powell is as big as he is being made out to be.

I just realised I quoted you and I meant to quote the post above.

So I could be wrong, however I haven't seen one mention yet of David's hair as Superman. I know Superman's hair in live action has always been a point of contention for us. Rarely has it been done right. So what's the overall consensus in regard to his hair in this film, from what we've seen?

His hair in the set photos is perfect Superman hair. And his Clark hair reminds me a lot of MAWS Clark. And it may look different when he's not rushing through foot traffic on his way in to work.
