The classic design is perfect. I'm sorry it just is.
Hoooo momma. Love it. Perfect texture for the suit. Would just fix up the belt to look less plastic and It would be perfect.

The belt makes me think this is AI.No perfection has that belt.![]()
Oh it's certainly AI, I have little doubt. The belt makes me think this is AI.
100% ai and maybe a face swap. Good to see a new texture on the blue. Would probably swap the texture on the shield for something more stable looking.
Overall, it’s a very handsome image. However, I disagree about the texture. A little too fuzzy and “felty” for my tastes — which tends to connote a homemade or cosplay quality. Now, I think you could make an intellectual argument for “homemade.” I.e., it harkens back to old-school canon wherein Ma Kent fashioned the suit from comfy Kryptonian space blankets. But pragmatically speaking, Supes’ ensemble will exist in a modern cinematic/TV superhero context. So the costume has to look good (“cool”) in comparison to the modern status quo.Hoooo momma. That is the sort of huggable texture that I want to get a big hug from Supes, no slimey alien basketball.
This is damn near the best one I've seen.
I do think it's a little fuzzy but I think the shield creates more of that look than the suit, but I would take down the felt look a little... But personally I think it does look cool, I think it looks cool next to what we are use to getting in marvel films where everything has a sort of plastic/rubber/leather look to it.Overall, it’s a very handsome image. I know that everyone is mostly talking about the suit, but i am disappointed that no one has criticized the hair. I would be so annoyed if he had that gross perfectly parted and combed, wet, greasy, gelled hair. I've always said that Daily Planet Clark Kent should have that hair, Superman should have the beautiful wavy locks that flows with the wind.
Oh yeah the hair is all wrong for sure. Just looking at the suit.I know that everyone is mostly talking about the suit, but i am disappointed that no one has criticized the hair. You always do good work DF

I need someone to dig up this recording. Science demands it.
I was gonna hit the "wow" reaction on this, but honestly, I can't even feign the shock at this point. The Snyder fanbase and their detachment from reality has been well documented, but… Jesus Christ.
Update, it's actually recording tonight.Well somehow I suspect they'll avoid the Legacy topic altogether, but David's calling in to his buddy's podcast next episode (recording on Monday).
