canker sores suck. I had one recently that wouldn't go away because it was right near my upper tooth and everytime I ate the damn thing would get irritated. I had it when I was watching Civil War at the fan screening coincidentally.

Mine's at the back of my cheek and it sorta touches my teeth too. Been 4 days now. Very very painful. It like pains the whole cheek sometimes. I just did a few salt water rinses for the first time today. Supposedly it speeds up the healing. What'd you end up doing?

Mine lasted well over a week I think. I dab the sore with hydrogen peroxide. That helps with the pain. But rinsing with HP worked much better and seemed to be what finally healed it.

I know this will come off as hyperbole. But Civil War is now the crowned king of comic book movies in my eyes. I almost thought before hand that I'd be too hyped for it to live up to my expectations, but it surpasses those. It's at least up there with The Dark Knight to me, about the same level. Such a well written film. I was on the edge of my seat the whole third act. Wow! We should be extremely thankful of Marvel Studios having the Russo brothers. I have no doubt that Infinity War will be a blast, even though I think it will be very hard to beat Civil War.

Saw Civil War. It was amazing. I have to see it again, but I'm more than ready to declare it the greatest in the MCU, possibly of them all.

I'm in a prison escape kind of mood these days, dunno why, I'm really liking Prison Break so far, loved watching Judge Dredd, The Shawshank Redemption, and recently Sylvester and Arnold's more fun escapade together; Escape Plan, which I think is an awesome movie.

I also decided to watch three Spider-Man episodes involving getting out of prison:

• The Prison Plot - Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends Season 1
• Guilty - 90s Spider-Man animated series season 4
• Opening Night - The Spectacular Spider-Man season 2

What a fun watch.
