Then it all seemed to get a little much. I think it's the same problem as with the movie version... it's straying too far from its original concept...

Yeah, I grew up in the Genesis era. Sonic's chatacter design was so unique, it really grabbed my attention as a kid. It was one of the things that drew me to the game, besides his speed.

I like pretty much all versions of Sonic, (though Boom Sonic was a bit of an adjustment.) I think Adventure era Sonic is my favorite, followed closely by Sonic CD Sonic.

I always told myself that sonic just grew up and his eyes became green due to using the chaos emeralds . That’s just me tho.
