How about (in say, the hidden bomb situation) everything else is like, sort of distorted, apart from the area containing the bomb?

What about for fight scenes, everyone but Spidey moves in slow motion then for situations like a hidden bomb or something it'd be like what Troy said. I mean, the spider sense indication can be different for certain circumstances, but it can be recognized no matter what by a sound a effect similar to something like Raimi's.

I do have to say Raimi's interpretation of spider sense was pretty ****ing top notch.

maybe a sound effect, a physical response from Parker (suddenly looks up or around) and a close up.

or a background distortion.

or he could put his hand on his temple, say "uh oh", then move before the attack.

or heat waves coming off Parker's head with a sudden close up.

or buzzing with Parker touching his temple.

I dunno, an effects expert could come up with alot more.

DON'T show the danger, just show people is aware of the danger, the reason being is if there are mutiple threats at the time the visual effect still works.

Cool idea, but I wouldn't make the danger spot a perfect circle.

The "Metamorphosis" episode in season four. Isn't a fly in the episode, lol, but the inspiration is clearly there.



THE best show on broadcast television. It sucks because it doesn't get as much accolades as it did when it first aired in '05, but it's still at the top of its game, imo. Besides Supernatural and Craig Ferguson, I don't think I would even care about broadcast television and just live on cable.

The episode is simply called "Metamorphosis" and the inspiration there lies in an everyday guy turning into a monster called a Rugaru. Isn't a fly, but it as been brought up as an inspiration from the writers of the episode. And the whole series, or at least the first five seasons dealt with an upcoming Apocalypse with Azazel, the Yellow-Eyed Demon looking for a "special child" to open up a Hell's Gate to free another demon, Lilith and that started a journey with breaking 66 Seals to unleash Lucifer. The whole Apocalypse angle has ended though, and now Supernatural relies on a post-Apocalypse world. The coming season will deal with an ally of theirs, Castiel, who's an angel, who has become a God of sorts after devouring the souls from Purgatory.

Wow, seems like a pretty packed story. I may check it out some day. Thanks for the explanation! Aside from South Park and Dexter, I rarely watch any TV show.

like I said in my previous post, if you highlight what the danger then you run into problems when there are multiple threats.

picture this;
spidey is stood infront of doc ock (for example) so his spidey sense is going off and then vulture flies in and hits spidey from the side, how you show the secondary threat with the spider sense pictured in the bike gif?
