Jean, in her "strongest form"(which is her most balanced one), is White Phoenix of the Crown. The same Phoenix who held the entire universe in her hand and altered the whole time stream without so much as breaking a sweat.

Furthermore, Jean can't die. No matter how many times he will kill her - she will always come back, she's a manifestation of the Phoenix Force - and as long as the force exists - so does she.

Now, let's go a step further. Superman, no matter what he does(sorry but I really am clueless about Superman Prime) - can't destroy a force of creation, simply because it is a Force. The Phoenix force is the sum and substance of all that lives. It’s cosmic energy not only represents all current life, but also future generations. He can't destroy a force.

And let's go another step ahead. Let's say he does manage to kill the force. If the force is destroyed - all life in the whole multiverse will end, meaning that he too will die.​

you guys are crazy...we are talking about Jean with the Phoenix Force here, she as stated above me, she once held the entire universe in her hands and re-grew parts of it simply by thinking about it...superman doesn't have that amount of power...he is a regular old being that came from a different planet...cosmic entites like phoenix are beyond lesser beings like superman. Plus batman? lol don't make me laugh, you really think batman could win? He is a regular human with no powers, that like saying a gun verses fist, i think the gun gets to you before you could even think about throwing a punch....phoenix wins against any, ANY lesser beings, which are beings that live on planets. She would destroy the two of them together and no even know that she crushed them.

batman isn't forge where he can build things quickly...and he can't possess the infinity gauntlet...too much power for him it would destroy him...plus she would kill him before he could build something, but it would be beyond human intelligence to build something strong enough to destroy the human avatar of Phoenix! Batman loses every time! Nuff said.
