He's being defeated will all probability at the end of TASM2, so I don't think Harry and Mr. Fiers would want to invest again lol

Of course the Rhino will be back, you don't cast Paul Giamatti for twenty seconds of Russian gangster comedy.

There's a few of the characters that wouldn't make sense together, or that would be redundant. First off, Shocker. I know he technically exists in the Spider-Man universe because of the Daily Bugle article... But c'mon, Electro can do everything he does. We've seen it already, they're too similar as far as blasting energy/electricity at Spidey. Next, I'd put Mysterio or Chameleon in there, not both. They both resemble "illusion" and really having Spidey utilize his Spidey sense to beat them. To put them both in would be meh...

I'd love to see Kraven as the villain in TASM 3 with Mysterio and the Vulture as a side villains. Some way, some how they're going to have to develop Doc Ock. There's no way Spidey is fighting the Sinister 6 in TASM 3 unless they use the Lizard or Goblin as one or two of the six. Won't fit.

This discussion should really be in the Amazing Spider Man Sequels section. I created a Sinister Six thread there a long time ago when I deduced that the S6 was where they were going. Lot's has been discussed there about who should make up the Six and why.

I could see Mysterio as the 6th member would love to see him on the big screen. Given the timeline they are trying to set up with this new universe its going to be interesting to see how they go about it.

You got ASM3, S6 Movie, Venom Movie, then ASM4. You will have to introduce the symboite and Venom before the Venom movie as a villain in ASM for Spidey before he goes all anti-hero in his movie. If we are going by what they are saying about the spin-off films being in between the 3 & 4 it would have to be ASM3 to give you black suit spidey, brock introduced, and venom creation.

I am new here so I am sure these scenarios have been thrown out there but with the possibility open for Spider-man to be making appearances in both Venom & S6 movies. They leave open the door to maybe have Venom & Mysterio be your villains in ASM3 or Venom/Doc Ock then do the big S6 team up in the S6 movie instead of in the ASM. Then there is the same situation as Venom do they introduce instead of Venom in ASM3 Ock & Vulture since we haven't seen either yet or wait until the S6 Movie to introduce them.

It seems to like with so many characters yet to be introduced it would have been better if the movie line up went, ASM3, S6, ASM4 then Venom Movie. This could all change but just going by what they said at this point just curious with 4 characters yet to be introduced for these spin-offs how they will weave all this together into a nice little package. Also curious if they will use the ASM movie name tag on the S6 movie for brand recognition like The Amazing Spider-Man: Sinister 6. When it comes time to market movies like it and Venom.

At the moment it's only really a question of whether or not Goblin and Lizard will be a part of the team - we're otherwise fairly sure of the others (Electro, Doc Ock, Vulture, Rhino)

Of course Black Cat's a possibility - although personally I'd prefer she team up with Spidey (and Venom?) to that the S6 down.

We saw from spoilers some easter eggs, example Vulture wings and Doc Ock arms so they are already forshadowed for Sinister Six line up.

Electro, Rhino, Vulture, Doc Ock, probably Mysterio you have room for one more character. Is it Green Goblin (Norman) will see. I think Lizard dont belong there so i didnt take it into consideration. I am little disappointed because nobody mentions Kraven, neither studio or fans.

Kraven again was one of Webb's top 3. He may get penciled in later or perhaps for the S6 film.

Also Andrew Garfield said recently he likes Kraven when asked about villains. So I'm sure Webb and Co would also talk with him about potential characters or who he'd like to go up against t:

To be frank, all I want is Mysterio. It's about time he appears on the big screen. Think of all the - here I say - amazing possibilities we have with him. I also like Chameleon, but I can't hope but feel he's a little bit redundant with Mysterio and Mysterio always stroke as the better villain of the two. I'd be so happy to so Mysterio on a movie I'd probably don't care that much about the others, but let me give a try:

probably Electro

I don't think Venom and Carnage fit that much on Sinister Six, but it could work, I guess. Though I've always seen Mac Gargan's Venom as a much better fit than Eddie's, who strikes more as a loner.

I really like Black Cat, but not on Sinister Six. I'd rather have her help Spidey againts S6. She doesn't seem right as a downright villain.

Well I haven't seen the movie, but I've irreparably spoiled the film for myself by coming to these threads already. So is there any indication of the following:

Harry is putting the six together but won't be apart of it? i.e. handing the reigns over to Ock (the only true leader of the S6).

What is the purpose of the six? to defeat spidey? to "change the world"? to fight crime?

"We have plans for you peter parker" makes it sound like they are going to blackmail him into being part of the six. So like:
