I didn't look hard enough. The group shots have added a skirt when one wasn't there originally because the ranger was a male.

What will be the fun in that? It's cool the way Gokaigers do it because we have never seen Big One in skirt before, for instance. If Saban just sticks to the old gender arrangement it won't be half as interesting. Besides, it's just Gokaiger assuming those sentais identities, anyway. It doesn't take away the original members' existence in their respective shows.

Wait a second... I don't remember the Yellow ranger in MMPR ever having a skirt. The only one in MMPR that had it was Pink. This is the first time I've seen an image with the yellow having a skirt.

The new yellow ranger, GokaiYellow gets to transfom into past sentai yellow rangers suits.

Since she's a girl this year the past suits will reflect her gender.

Which means we've come full circle from MMPR changing what was originally a male yellow in sentai to a female yellow this year.

And also the reversioned MMPR season 1 toys did release a yellow with a skirt

Since they decided to add skirts to gender-changed costumes, this makes the repaint show accurate. In other words, those who already have all 5 Rangers from those 2010 MMPR 5-packs, technically have a Go-Kaiger accurate ZyuRanger team.

Darn. This answers my question on whether Gokai-Green transforms into Mammoth-Ranger (black) or Dragon-Ranger (green). Would've been funnier if it was the latter. That way, when the Gokaigers transform into Zyurangers, he would have a brief WTF moment when he realises his unexpected power upgrade.

Dragon Ranger(MMPR) will likely be used by the 6th ranger as it was the first official 6th ranger.

The 1987 series Maskman experimented with a one shot 6th ranger. It wasn't till 1991 that Toei introduced Dragon Ranger

Operation Overdrive = 3/10

Jungle Fury = 4/10

I got say I'm really digging the new pirate motif and designs.

And I was really digging on the Shinkenger and Samurai designs as well.

Specifically I like that in Shinkenger/Samurai they have long black pants tights instead of a one uniform color. Just a nice diversion that works well for the costumes. The black breaks it up well.
