Didn't they do a lot of their own footage already during Mighty Morphin? They skipped the Dairangers and turned the Kakurangers into Alien Rangers. So we had 3 seasons of Zyurangers.

True though that was back when the Rangers were at the height of their popularity. I think their production budget has probably shrunk now (relative to inflation, of course).

I think the first episode of Gokaiger has been more impressive than Power Rangers Samurai's imo.

Its not hard. Most sentai shows I think are better than the American re-versioning. They aren't QUITE as goofy and silly. They are a little more edgier and more violent compared to the American versions.

I don't quite care for the monsters feeling the need to rhyme with so much of their dialogue.

I really REALLY want to buy the Figurart for ShinkenRed, but it's price tag of $45 makes me hesitate. Back when I was a bachelor, I'd buy this without a doubt, but right now it's hard to justify spending this amount on a toy. I still want it though.

5 inch ain't so bad, just hope in the future they don't change sizes again. Really bothers me having different figure sizes.

I know how you feel Raiden. That's why I hit up the conventions. Some times you can find stuff like the Figuarts marked down or for a more reasonable price.

FYI, I recently bought a Figuarts SSJ Goku for $20. I also was able to get a Figuarts Kamen Rider Ixa for $23. A nice local anime shop here in SoCal sometimes has good deals on the Figuarts stuff.

Part of it was the brand. They felt that if they ditched the Zyranger suits the kids would stop watching/buying toys, so they starting making new footage to cover for that.

Which SoCal anime shop are you referring to? Btw, I used to go to Frank & Son (which is a swap meet for genre collectors and feature celebrity signing autographs like Stan Lee) twice a week, and there are some vendors who would sell import toys at a good price.

-Don't handle it with cold hands if you're changing hands. You might break the hand connector. A blowdryer might help with heating some spots

-Some of the joints are really stiff.
