Well the megaforce poster looks pretty nicely made. The logo itself is pretty lacking there.

Oh come on how the hell is gokaiger to dam mature. Its no different then any other sentai shows that pr has adapted from. And pirates are still a big seller thanks to the disney pirates films. I can't believe that one dam bit. All we need is a group of alien teen pirates coming to earth for ultimate glory and being chased by evil aliens after same thing. And then tie into past cameo stuff with using powers. It pratically writes itself.

Which is silly there sure they are pirates but they can do what gokaiger did and jus have them framed for something they didn't do. And hell they are not robberring, murdering, raping folks. You can downplay those pirate things to something else.

I would hope it doesn't. Since it is saban and toei show. They are the ones in charge of things. Where as nick is just a home to air it. They shouldn't have any creative control in the show.

It sounded like a ready-made excuse to try to justify why they don't adapt Gokaiger as MMPR's 20th anniversary series. I think the real reason is because they don't want the hassel of bringing back PR aluminis for the series, so they decided to skip this season and came up with this excuse to use against the inevitable backlash from the fans.

I spoke with my source today and they had a better answer to this question. Most of our discussion is off-the-record. They are unable to skip a season, which makes sense because Goseiger comes before Gokaiger. Gokaiger fans will be very pleased when the time is right

Exactly. Anyone who thinks Nick has ridiculous censors hasn't watched Legend of Korra, a show a lot more mature and sophisticated than Power Rangers, or Victorious, which is loaded with inneundos.

At San Diego Comic-Con next month, multiple generations of fans can celebrate next year's 20th anniversary of the series at the “Power Rangers: 20 Years and Beyond” panel. The panel will feature Elie Dekel (President of Saban Brands), actor Paul Schrier (“Bulk&#8221, writer and supervising producer Tony Oliver (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), as well as other key talent and members of the Power Rangers creative team. The panel will cover the history of the series, the new DVD release of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and the show’s current incarnation as Power Rangers Super Samurai.

Shout! Factory, who are releasing all of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on DVD, are presenting the panel, which will be moderated by Shout’s Brian Ward.

Attendees at San Diego Comic-Con will be able to purchase a Comic-Con exclusive Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Complete Series DVD Box set at Shout’s booth. The set contains all 145 episodes of the original Power Rangers series, plus the ten-episode Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Alien Rangers.

The Power Rangers: 20 Years and Beyond panel will take place on Thursday, July 12 at 2pm in the Hilton San Diego Bayfront - Indigo Room.

That's a relief. I'm glad they're not skipping seasons. I haven't seen Goseiger, and it gets more of a mixed fan reaction from what I've heard, but that just means PR can improve on it. They've done it before. Besides, Samurai probably had higher expectations attached to it because Shinkenger was so adored.

That comic con panel sounds prety cool. I hope we get some good questions/answers out of it. And maybe learn more on megaforce story/plot.

I too hope that the no skip thing is true and we will see gokaiger used. I would still hate to see it not used at all. Or its ideas/concepts get merged into megaforce/goseiger. Heck it would have been idea for toei to let saban skip this one time to have gokaiger pr season make correct anni yr here. And then do goseiger after/or a precurser mini series.

This is just one thing I hate about spilting one sentai into two smaller season format we have right now with nick. I just really love to see one yr format back. And I see no real reason we couldn't air the show at 40 episodes in 8-10 month span like fox/disney did.

If 40 really is to much for nick I still rather take dropping count back to 32. If we got 26ish episodes out of samurai last yr. I don't see 32 being to much more of a problem for nicks screwy schedule format.

As for legendary war I would still perfer it to be a closer thing/epilog scenes for megaforce finale. To lead right into pr gokaiger season. But if gokaiger happens I hate to see the war get stretched out as the only big anni special we get since we are getting goseiger now first.

Don't know, I was also wondering what happened, maybe their on summer break & making new episodes.

They aren't making new episodes as the show was shot and pretty muched completed last yr/early this yr with some additional adr work for some episodes. They are just on summer break, and will return in sept to air the remaining super samurai episodes. Which is 7 episodes left I believe, 9 if they really did two more holiday episodes.

Since Toei and Marvel had worked in the past (Marvel let Toei make Spider-Man toku, and Toei let Marvel produce Battle Fever J, the third Super Sentai series of the franchise back in '79), it would be great if they can collaborate again in the future.
