For those that are interested, the Super sentai movie "199 Heroes Battle" is on youtube

This expands the legend war footage and features all core mecha battling the enemy. Subbed by tvnihon.

I had an idea for the "Pirate Rangers" showing up mid-season in PRMF as a group of "bullies" or antagonists for the MF Rangers in high school.

They would be a group of highly intelligent and gifted kids who all grew up in the foster care system and have known each other since elementary school. They've become a bit jaded by life circumstances, which is why they have a tendency to break the rules. They would pretty much be giving the MF Rangers hell now and then with various events and happenings at school i.e. Bulk and Skull minus the humor.

Eventually they would be taken and given the "Pirate" powers by the following series baddies... which would have them disappear for the remainder on PRMF series much to the MF Rangers bewilderment. They would return at the end of the series finale of PRMF and steal the MF Ranger powers...which would be the segue into the next PR series...

Nice idea there. But I still feel the direction it be. Is season one of mf will end with the mega battle. All rangers loose powers ala sentai legends war. And then some story reason why pirate powers come in to play. Either there mentor gosei whips them out of no where like zordon did all the time, maybe them/silver pirate ranger come from tf future as a backup plan(ship megazord and powers) in case rangers lost the war. And would be a great tie to silver zords being from future tf era and all that. And they could keep silver love of rangers a character trait. Or they could play up how turbo to space went and the ship and silver where just wandering space and knew of power rangers and all that. But didn't want to get invovled with the empire/war.

Am I the only one who thinks T. J. Johnson made a good Red Ranger? He seems to be overlooked by so many fans.

Probably because he was Red for only half a season. But he did continue some of that leadership role in the next season when Andros was busy with his sister drama.

TJ was great. He was a leader without much backstory though, so even though he was a great leader, there wasn't much character to get into like other Red Rangers. I liked him a lot though. Real cool guy all around.

I know I'm Probably in the minority but I prefer Tommy Oliver as Red Ranger / Zeo Ranger V.

What'd everyone here think of Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue?

Am I the only one who still loves the original five Power Rangers of Jason, Zack, Trini, Kimberly, and Billy the best?

Nope. Original MMPR era still the best. I only got up to Zeo and then would watch for anniversary appearances such as Forever Red and Once A Ranger.

Found these on deviantART.

The original cast/replacements are still some of the best characters to me aswell since they got actual time to develop and grow. But the Zordon era is the best overall in general since basically all characters got the opportunity to develop very well and get great storylines.

why do most Power Ranger teams carry sidearms {usually blasters}, yet they rarely use them. At least in Power Rangers: Samurai, the swords they carry on their belts they use regularly.

More toys to sell. And of course the writers usually dont care about weaponary unless the sentai relies on it a lot.

Found this wallpaper based on the upcoming Power Rangers Megaforce. I thought it looked cool and thought you guys and girls would like too see it. It was made by scottasl on deviantART.

Its ok. I really wish they would go back to the original format of keeping the cast for multiple seasons and set up a big CD2D type event throughout the years. And i know it will never happen but it would be so oh so nice to see original/2.0 team again, or any of the Zordon era teams again.

and thats mainly due to there having been nearly 200 episodes of MMPR.

But they still kept everyone who didnt want to leave until the 2nd half of Turbo which is still good enough.

The Zordon Era is definitely the best. I think if Power Rangers had ended with "In Space" more people would respect the series. But now, it's just a cash cow with a very niche audience.

Definitely. "Countdown to Destruction" would have been a great way to wrap up the series as a whole, not just the Zordon Era.

Did anyone listen to Amy Jo Johnson's interview on No Pink Spandex? She sounds like a major airhead. I'm a little disappointed to be honest.
