Am i the only one who isn't wowed by the trailer(s) ?
I seriously have a meh feeling about this and there isn't anything that in the trailers where i went "wow , i really need to see this movie asap".

They haven't been the best trailers I've ever seen but I'll still give this movie a chance. I wasn't all that impressed with the Sherlock Holmes trailers either and it went on to be my favorite movie of 2009 so there's always hope for POP.

Nah. You're not.

Anyone that's seen the Mummy franchise has seen most of the tricks in this. Mix in a bit of the POTC franchise.

But hey, I thought people wouldn't go crazy for Avatar since it retread Pocahontas, so I'm not sure people still won't eat this up cause it's familiar.

I dug it. They showed a little too many money shots (namely the dagger time snake bit) but it was cool.

I'll watch this movie in the cinemas. That i'll guarantee . But it's not really blowing me away with the trailers. And since you used Holmes as an example , i'll admit that Holmes's trailer didn't offer anything new . The usual slomo stuff from ritchie and the victorian images. But it did have some pretty cool lines like what holmes says after he's naked and handcuffed. It did get a chuckle from me. Hell even the POTC trailers made me laugh out loud during some moments.

Also again going off topic. It actually took me 3 viewings to like Holmes :hehe:
First viewing i thought the was too action packed . But for some reason i still went back to watch it and after the 3rd viewing i rated the movie a 8/10 from a original 6/10

The only thing I like about the trailers is the music. This looks like ass.

I loved it! Just a few things: the third-last "thump" was off beat and some of the dialogue like "that's impossible" seemed a bit out of place.

I think this looks like a standard summer action adventure film. It'll probably be at least fun.

I'm with you too. I don't get why all the characters have British accents, Middle Eastern people don't have British accents.

Trailer looks okay, might be good, I'll be keeping an open mind until I see some reviews.

Im going to watch it no doubt but this will not be as epic as i expected it to be.

Lion King was Hamlet with lions and people ate it up.

Really? After watching that new trailer just now, all I could think of was "EPIC!" I am glad we finally got to see more of Gemma, she looks great. I think Jake is really going to amaze us in this role...although I have been a fan of his for ages now.

^^^^ It's a Disney movie, there's a ridiculous amount of singing no matter what.

That poster is pretty sweet, but why did his right arm lose all muscle tone?

Because they took it out and redrew it. The original pose shows his arm down, holding another sword.
