I think Falcone meant Hollywood films in general.
I liked The Mummy. It's alot of fun. If it's on tv I'll watch it. Scared the crap out of me as a little kid though.
Agreed. The second though.... How in the hell did they find Imohtep's body under the ground when he was consumed by the underworld?
I probably will never watch the third. If I ever do I will be channel flipping and it appears on tv.
Not to mention the clay looking Scorpian King. Whaaa?
Yeah, but I'm specifically talking VG movies here..I think Falcone meant Hollywood films in general.
He has his arms raised too.
"NOOOOOOOOOO!" *bald head*
The only good thing about the sequel was that Weisz got hotter. I mean holy **** she was damn fine. She was hot in the first in a bookish way, but my God...
I think he got that too. But the point he was making was an obvious one. The point you made was actually rather valid, however.Yeah, but I'm specifically talking VG movies here..
Not necessarily. He's been vying for a superhero action role for a while. He was almost the replacement Spidey, he was the runner-up for Batman, and when recently asked if he's interested in a comic book role, he answered, "I'd never turn that down".I definitely this will be a movie that sets the tone for video game films in the future. The cast is remarkable and since we haven't seen Jake in a role like this before, I really think he waited to choose a special project.
Prince of Persia was good, not great, pretty much exactly what I expected. It moved VERY quickly but was still long. Not enough parkour.
I like the plot, but there's so much going on it was confusing at times, felt a little rushed and messy, but wasn't bad. Just good I guess.

The Prince was his best shot at this position, so he took it.
First Showing
The action is big. The effects bigger. And the storyline just interesting enough to keep you watching. Gyllenhaal -- probably not anybody's first choice for the Prince of Persia; although, to be fair, he's a hard character to cast -- serves the role just fine. And Arterton has sex appeal to spare. This movie will surely be compared to Pirates of the Caribbean series and it shares much in common. Perhaps the only thing missing is the equivalent of Captain Jack Sparrow -- Johnny Depp's ludicrous, but unforgettable antihero. By comparison, Dastan and Tamina are straighter and side-players like Kingsley and Molina unremarkable. But the movie is well-produced and sparkling with polish from beginning to end, and we doubt any potential shortcomings will stop moviegoers from seeing it and doing their part in adding another notch to Bruckheimer's already-considerable blockbuster belt.
this is exactlly what i was expecting.
i have a feeling that with low expectations this could be a fun summer movie and this is the purpose of a movie like POP.
