Prince of Persia:The Sands of Time

hehe I never played the first one either. Only Warrior Within. And it is one of the only games ever that I didn't complete. ****ing hard as nails it was.

If they don't push the 250 mark domestically and it sputters WW, then I can see a sequel in jeapordy. Needs to gross 500 million for a lock. Lets not forget Narnia getting the can despite an over 400 million gross. Different circumstances I know, but they still need all the money they can get.

Yeah but by good fortune the Narnia franchise got picked up by another studio.

Fox is handling distribution on Narnia now...Disney dropped it because their expectations of success are a lot higher than most other studios

It is happening. I still haven't seen the second one yet and I didn't care much for the first.

I also think it didnt' do as well because of the poor release date. I mean they were idiots to release it between IM and KOTCS. It should of been released that December.

Finally got around to watching the trailer for this. Looks pretty fun and definitely has that Pirates of the Caribbean vibe to it, which is expected since it's the same producer of course.

This film has replaced The Wolfman on the top films I can't wait to see next year. I'm getting jazzed for it.

I'm too much of a werewolf lover to be excited for PoP more but PoP is definitely an action film I'll be checking out next year.

I'm a huge Wolfman fan too, but I'm starting to get a little pessimistic about The Wolfman. It possibly could be disapointing. I'll still see it, but I just have a feeling.

I get the feeling that everyone on the Wolfman has different ideas. Actors, makeup, director, studio etc. I think that alot of ideas are gonna clash.

Bruckheimer said they are planning on just making this one. Haha terry where are you getting your info from bro? This is like the second time I've heard the opposite of you, haha. He said that they wrote it for only the one film, and that if they make a sequel, it will be a challenge to continue the story but it could potentially be done.

Not exactly. In an interview posted in this thread about a week or two ago, Bruckheimer said that, like Pirates, they made this to be a stand alone movie, but, like Pirates, if it does well he's always open to coming back.

Well, to be fair, nobody predicted that IM was going to be the hit it was. But KOTCS I agree with. That movie was going to make big $$$ no matter what.

are you talking about "Prince Caspian"....that movie was ****ed either way because it just wasn't that good....the first one was ok, but hardly set the world on fire...Disney initially picked up the franchise because they were tired of Harry Potter kicking their ass every year

Gotta admit...I went from zero interest to super hyped after one trailer viewing. It looks fantastic.

What came out in December last year? I really don't remember other than Benjamin Button. It could of done just as well as the first possibly.
