Prince of Persia:The Sands of Time

I think that, next to the Silent Hill movie, this might be the first REALLY GOOD video-game-adaptation put on film. Don't get me wrong, the Silent Hill movie was GREAT, but it wasn't universally hailed by most people as the first "AWESOME" video game film, mainly due to all that unnecessary padding with Sean Bean's character. This might be it, though. It LOOKS like the game it's based on, feels like it, and is even LOYAL to it (at least, from what I've seen thus far).

That, and there's some minor throwbacks/references to the OTHER two PoP games, Warrior Within and The Two Thrones. Anyone else spot them in the trailer?

I thought that Silent Hill was pretty good....until I rewatched it on DVD.

I think it was just the hype of seeing one of my favorite videogame franchises on the bigscreen. Ultimately the bad dialogue, acting and plot killed a beautiful looking movie.
