Actually, Katie's spoilerific interview *does* give us some more Prometheus news, even though it's got to be redacted in spoiler tags. Still, for those who read the spoiler and want to discuss it further:

She says her character gets eaten by an alien. I'm willing to have faith in all Ridley's protests and denials about xenomorphs, and I'm not the least bit convinced that Space Jockeys are the sort to go around eating people, so I'm going out on a limb and assuming that we're going to encounter an entirely new species. Probably one bio-engineered by the Jockeys.

All creatures eat humans included. We never saw the xenomorphs eat, but they could have eaten the bodies of the creatures that incubated their young after the young hatched. I doubt that was the case but you get my point.

Exactly. Could be another bioengineered species, or just simply some local nasty fauna that the crew run into on this distant planet.
