What the two do have in common, Lindelof said, is that the universe in which each takes place shares a similar aesthetic. When the writer signed on to the film, Scott was already deep into discussions with production designer Arthur Max, whose résumé includes work on “Se7en” and “Gladiator.” Scott took Lindelof to what he described as a “thick, dramatic vault door” where five twentysomethings who “looked like they were playing video games” were rendering images of planets, creatures and space suits.
“The movie is definitely epic in its scope. One of the filmmakers that we ended up talking about to a fair degree of redundancy was David Lean, who directed ‘Lawrence of Arabia,’” he said. “We wanted to make the movie feel big by having the characters be small in big spaces. That connected to the larger themes we were talking about — that we’re all just these little gnats crawling around on our little planet.”

Love Noomi's costume. I like the look of the Space Jockey suit except for the boots.

I love that pic! The facial expression is so beautiful but at the same time so foreboding of something dark and terrible is on its way.

i hope they will not add a blue filter on top. i like grey walls. modern blockbusters like to force digital blue color .

What is it with every time there's some sort of suit in a movie, people complain about it.

I love the designs of the suits. The only potential problem I have with them is they look maybe more advanced that the suits in the first Alien. But then, you could say the ones in Alien are less advanced because they are a bunch of space truckers, rather than some highly funded science research team or whatever.

No, it didn't say *that,* either. It didn't say "FIRST 28 minutes," or "THE last 28 minutes." Go back and re-read it again. Closely. CLOSELY. And think about the word "last" as a verb instead of an adjective.

She said she lasts 28 minutes. "Lasts" --- verb. That means her time could be at the beginning of the film, the end of the film, or the middle of the film. Not that hard to figure out....you're just reading it wrong.
