I hope Prometheus is good so we can get another Prometheus. Truth be told I don't foresee a sequel to Predators happening any time soon.

I doubt it, it seems that Fox has learned from their past mistakes. They're actually making GOOD movies now.

I liked Rise of the Planet of the Apes, X-Men: First Class, and Chronicle.

i forgot First Class.good movie. that was IMO luck since Fox did everything they could to rush it and make it a difficult production.

Chronicle was very cheap for hollywood standards.

Cheap for its budget or cheap as in story and characters? I thought everything was very well-done, even the effects.

You can kinda tell it was rushed. It's a good movie that lacked the final polish it needed, and it included some of the CG. The CG was serviceable, though any flying scenes or sub CG near the end were bad.

The CG I will admit looked faulty at times, but the flying was fantastic imo. I haven't seen the movie since January so my memory on specific scenes are fuzzy.

LOL, I've been talking about Chronicle not X-Men: First Class.

The movie did feel rushed.

Chronicle is somewhat baffling to me.

I thought the flying scenes and the battle scenes looked great.

but things like floating baseballs they couldn't pull off.

There was no reason to resort to cg for the baseball. Why not just green screen in a baseball? You could even put it on a string and spin it and green screen it in.

The way they did it looked pretty bad and considering its pretty much the first example of their powers its kind of important.

Yeah. It's like how Dr. Manhatten and Cesar look good up close but anytime you have a shot of them from afar they look fake and weightless. CG animates need to work on some of their physics.

CBM is reporting that Prometheus earned an 18 certification in Spain, which is the equivalent of an R in the US.

To me, that's fantastic news.
